dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for taking the time to read about us and a bit of who we are. While we may not fully understand what you must be going through in making this decision, we are in awe of your strength, compassion, and selflessness. We hope you know how truly grateful we are to even be considered as an option. We hope you feel loved, supported, and heard throughout this process.
If given the chance to adopt your child, we plan to love and support them for exactly who they are, no matter what. We are here to provide a safe home full of love and laughter as well as comfort them when they are going through a hard time in the rollercoaster that is childhood. We will provide your child with a great education, fun experiences, and beautiful memories. We know parenting is not always going to be easy, but we know we are ready for this next chapter in our lives. We promise your child will always be heard, validated, and supported in their decisions and guided along the way.
We are fortunate to have such amazing and supportive family and friends in our lives. Your child will always have mentors, role models, and love around them through this journey we call life. We will be forever grateful for you choosing us and will do our best every day to give your child all the love we have.
With love and gratitude,
Chrissy and Jessica
We have big hearts, compassion, and love for music, art, and nature. We met at a concert 13 years ago, and the rest has been herstory. We got married in the mountains eight years ago and were joined by our loving and supportive family and friends. Together we believe in communication, trust, respect, and love as a strong foundation in our relationship. Chrissy is a program manager and registered associate marriage and family therapist at an adolescent and teen drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. Chrissy is close to being a licensed marriage and family therapist as she continues to work toward completing her therapy hours. Jessica is a bank operations advisor for a large financial institution and has been with the company for 15 years. We enjoy camping, traveling, visiting museums, playing board games, attending live music, and sharing experiences with the people we love.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a warm and inviting, three-bedroom, ranch-style home with a large deck in the back. It is in a quiet, walkable neighborhood in California with a melting pot of young families. Our community is diverse and rich in various cultures, ethnicities, and endless food options. We have many parks and an elementary school that is two minutes away. We are a short drive to the beach and a one-hour drive to the mountains. We have zoo and museum memberships as well as an annual county fair we look forward to taking our little one to. We have two cats we love and adopted from the humane society that spend most afternoons sleeping in a sunny window in our home.
Our Extended Family
We have large extended families with many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and grandmothers. Both of us have cousins around our ages with growing families. We love celebrating every occasion, especially Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. On Halloween, Jessica makes homemade costumes while Chrissy sets up the spooky decorations. On Christmas, Jessica bakes goodies and Chrissy picks out the perfect Christmas tree.
Jessica has a brother and sister-in-law, but we call her sister-in-love because she joined our family with love. They live out in the country and bring us farm fresh eggs from their chickens. We are close to Jessica’s parents and enjoy going on trips to their second home in the mountains of Colorado every summer. Most of the year they live only ten minutes away from us and are there for us whenever we need anything.
Chrissy is an only child, and her parents have passed away; however, she remains close to her grandmother along with the rest of her large family on her mother’s side. We enjoy spending Sundays with them over brunch, watching the football and soccer games,
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always known in our hearts we wanted to adopt a child. Chrissy’s mother was adopted, so Chrissy always knew she would adopt when she was older too. What excites us about adoption is being able to have the opportunity to support and educate another human being. We love the curiosity and imagination of children and the ability to share that as we grow together. As we discussed growing our family, we felt in our hearts that this is the best decision for us. Thanks to hard work and dedication, we feel we can provide a loving and supportive home to a child. Our families are incredibly supportive and excited for our journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
