dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

I am so humbled you are considering me to raise, love, protect, and support your precious child. I appreciate, support, and validate everything you’re experiencing during your pregnancy. Your decision to pursue adoption is courageous, selfless, and brave. I will always honor you in our lives, should you choose me.

I will do my very best to provide your child with a happy, full, balanced life. I plan to be a very active and engaged parent. I will be lovingly focused on their health, education, and development. I look forward to having them be part of my extended family adventures as well. They will always know how loved they are, and your child will never want for companionship and support.

I am so looking forward to becoming a parent through adoption, and I am open to whichever type of adoption you choose. I am happy to consider you to be part of our extended family as well, if that is your desire. I sincerely thank you for considering me as a part of your child’s future.

About Me

I am a hardworking, independent woman. I am also very sensitive, committed, and loyal. After many years of medical training, I moved back to my hometown because I love spending time with my family and friends. I work in a small private medical practice and help people through cataract and glaucoma surgery. I am so grateful my career provides both financial stability and excellent work–life balance. I enjoy the routine of daily life, including morning exercise, my work, reading books, learning music, and family dinners. I am an active member of an inclusive, supportive church. I love adventures, whether it’s attending outdoor concerts and festivals, going for a hike or bike ride, taking my niece and nephew to the zoo, or learning guitar. I love traveling whenever possible and have been blessed to take some amazing trips. I can’t wait to include my future child on these adventures!

My Home

I moved back to the Midwest suburbs where I grew up after finishing medical school. We have really great schools. My four-bedroom home is on a lake. The basement has a big play area. There is a large yard to run around and play in, and I live across the street from a beautiful park with swings and a slide. There is a state park three miles away with hiking, a nature center, and mountain biking. I can also walk from my house to town, where there are restaurants, shopping, and a library. I love having family and friends over to relax, swim, kayak, boat, and gather for holidays and special occasions. My neighbors are kind, and my neighborhood is safe and friendly.

My Extended Family

I love my family and spending time with them. I had a happy childhood, and I remain very close to my siblings and parents. My parents love nothing more than spending time with their grandchildren. My younger brother, his wife, his one-year-old daughter, and their puppy live nearby. My younger sister, her husband, and their two-year-old son also live nearby. I am so grateful to have my best childhood friend, her husband, and their children very active in my life. I am the godmother to her two school-aged kids. We all love spending summer afternoons together at the lake, attending sporting events, going to church together, and celebrating birthdays and holidays together.

I have a close extended family too, and several of my cousins have young children. We have many traditions. For the last 25 years, we have had an annual family reunion, during which we spend a week together at a beach, cooking, swimming, playing board games, and golfing.

I am so grateful for my family. We have helped each other through some challenging times, and we honor and support each other. I know your child would have a special place in our extended family!

What Led Me To Adoption

Over the last eight years, I have taken great joy in participating in the lives of my godchildren and my nephew and niece. They have touched a place in my heart that has inspired me to become a mother myself. I am single, and I have had some challenges with fertility treatments. I have some close friends and family who have adopted, and they have always inspired me. Building my family through adoption feels like the best choice for me, and I’m very excited about the opportunity and responsibility.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
