We believe that every child is God-breathed and created for a special purpose. Each is a gift from Heaven to be treasured and loved. We cannot fully know the circumstances and emotions that have led you to the difficult decision of adoption for your child, but we do know that you can only be a woman of remarkable strength and courage, and we honor you! Thank you for considering us to love and cherish your precious one. We pray for you and your baby daily. We pray for good health, peace and comfort, and for whatever your needs may be.
Words alone could never adequately express our gratitude and admiration for you. We are simple, down-to-earth people, but we have much to offer your child. We have the pledge of love, nurture, security, family, friends, laughter, fun, and faith. In the midst of all these will be honesty. Honesty to share with your little one the knowledge of who you are and the selfless sacrifice you made to choose life – this life for them. We would be blessed and overjoyed if you should decide to entrust us to love your child as our own, completing our family and home. Your child is our miracle in the making. We hope to get to meet you, as well as learn more about you. Thank you for taking the time to read our profile.
We are Venessa and Jeffrey (or Jeron, as he is called by our family because his dad is also a Jeffrey). We met nine years ago at the church we are members of. We started off as just friends, but to our surprise, found a love deeper than that friendship. We believe God has united us for His purposes.
I work at a middle school two blocks from home. I have taught there for 17 years as a special education teacher. Jeron is an expeditor at a paper product factory, also only four blocks from home. In the evenings and weekends, we go to the YMCA to swim, play games, go to parks, visit with family and friends, bike, and play outside. We believe in providing our children with rich opportunities to explore, learn, grow, and have fun. I love to play piano and sing – co-leading our worship team at church. I also work in the nursery/pre-school room. Jeron loves to hunt deer and ducks, fish, and garden. He has an interest in farming and has raised chickens and cattle on a family farm. He is also involved in prison ministry, as well as plays bass and sings on our worship team at church.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a ranch-style home with three bedrooms and one bath. Our home is child-centered and full of love. We own a double lot behind our house, which is fenced-in and provides plenty of room for running and playing. We also have a playground within walking distance and all three schools are very close by. We do have a plan to move to a larger home in about 3-5 years, but will remain in the community that I have grown up in, and we love.
Our community is small but close enough to larger neighboring communities to allow for plenty of activity for little ones. We are situated along the Wisconsin River, which is picturesque in any season. We are the home of the “Pumpkinfest” where fall activities abound, a “Hometown Christmas,” an all-day event including a parade, hayrides, crafts, and fireworks, and Walleye Days, a contest on the river for catching the largest walleye. This is the place we are proud to call our home.
Our Extended Family
We have a very supportive close-knit family. We each have one sibling, of which we are both the eldest. My parents live about four blocks away. Jeron’s parents live about 20 minutes away, while his sister and grandmother live in the next town over from us. Our parents have always been very involved with our daughter’s care. Several days a week, she is cared for with her cousins (ages 3 and 5), so they play together often. My brother and his fiance’ will be married this summer. They are also looking forward to having children. Although they live four hours away, we are close at heart and plan special times to be together, including holidays and our annual family fishing trip at a cabin in the Northwoods every summer. Jeron’s and my families often spend time together for our birthdays, get-togethers, and day trips. We spend time doing lots of seasonal activities with Jeron’s family such as visiting waterparks, fairs, festivals, and orchards. In addition to all of this, we gather for holidays with our extended-extended families, where the first and second cousins know each other and play together. There is never a dull moment with our families! We are thankful for them!
What Led Us To Adoption
Even before we were married, we dreamed of the family we would have. We were married eight years ago (come June), and began our planning for our family immediately. Growing our family has been a difficult road for us. We finally became pregnant two years into our marriage, but were devastated when we lost the baby. Three months later we were elated to learn we were pregnant again. That pregnancy required a lot of prayer and careful monitoring, as it looked like we were going to lose that baby too. However, we were immensely blessed when our daughter, Brenna, entered this world five years ago. As she has been such a joy and delight to us, our desire to have another child has remained strong in our hearts. In addition to this, Brenna has been asking and praying for a baby brother or sister for the past two years, and so wants to become a big sister! After another miscarriage, and infertility due to blocked tubes, the desire for another child has not waned in our hearts. With much prayerfulness and support from those we love, we considered the path of adoption for growing our family. We are so excited for this journey to meet the baby God is preparing for us – to be a part of us and our family!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
