dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for taking the time to read our profile. We feel blessed that you are considering us to be the adoptive parents for your baby. As you read this, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you for being incredibly brave, selfless, loving, and courageous. We are full of admiration and respect for you.
If you choose us, we promise we will provide a safe, loving home where a child can grow up and enjoy life. We want to help foster a child’s natural gifts and talents so we can watch how they grow and where they will go in life. We are so excited to share meals around the table together, to take them to music and science classes as well as sports practices, and to play, build, and go on adventures together. We look forward to entering into their world and having them enter into ours.
Thank you for reading our profile and considering us as the adoptive parents of your baby.
Judson and Jen
Watch Our Video
We met through Judson’s cousin, who was also Jen’s close friend, while he was in the Marines. We were married at the one-year mark of meeting each other! Judson works with electric motors and industrial electricity. He is extremely kind, very disciplined, and has a great sense of humor. He also enjoys playing hockey. Jen is a web developer, and before that, she was a nanny for five years. Jen is also a very kind, compassionate, and patient person. She is passionate about reading, writing music and playing the piano. We both love exercising together and going on long walks with our two dogs. At night, we can often be found reading books or watching a favorite show. On the weekends, we love to explore the beautiful parks and forest preserves near our home and cook good food on the grill.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three-bedroom, four-bathroom, ranch home in Illinois. It is in the country with lots of beautiful trees. We live with our two dogs, whom we love very much and who are great with kids because they are gentle and play well with our little nieces and nephews. We live on a quiet, family-friendly street, in an excellent school system, and are close to any store you’d need. We love to take our dogs to the dog parks and visit the nearby forest preserves to go for long walks.
Our Extended Family
Judson has two older brothers who are both married with four children each. One brother lives in Australia, and the other brother lives 15 minutes away. Judson has a close relationship with his father. His mother died in March of 2019, but we still celebrate her life because she was an exceptional woman. He has a large extended family who mostly live nearby. Jen has one younger sister, who is married. Jen and her sister enjoy a close relationship. Her mother and father live 20 minutes away.
Judson’s side of the family is Swedish, so every Christmas Eve, we share a traditional Swedish dinner. Every Thanksgiving, Jen, her sister, and their mom enjoy baking an apple pie together for dessert. Both families were thrilled when we told them about our choice to adopt. We feel so blessed to have both our families’ love and support in our decision!
What Led Us To Adoption
Even before we were married, we always felt called to adopt. The same cousin who connected us as a couple adopted a baby, our sister-in-law is adopted, and two more of Judson’s cousins are adopted. Seeing adoption firsthand inspired us to take the next steps toward adoption. As Christians, we also believe God adopted us into his family, and we want to do the same for a child. We are so excited to grow our family through adoption!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
