dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We couldn’t be happier than where we are today because we’re not only potentially forming a life-bond with your baby but also with you. We simply refuse to not recognize our blessings every day. We have so much love, and the thought of extending that love to a child brings us unquantifiable warmth.
We can’t wait to teach your baby how to swim, read together, capture their first steps, and see their high school graduation. But it’s actually the deeper lessons in life we can’t wait to teach: compassion for others, empathy, humility, and overcoming challenges.
We have been ready to become parents for years now. After trying the “natural” way, we didn’t have any luck. Our doctors suggested IVF as a promising solution. We quickly decided against that option as we don’t need a child to look like us or have our mannerisms to be their parents. We know being a parent is teaching, guiding, and exposing our child to a life full of experience, safety, and love. We will be forever grateful for the lifetime gift you are considering. Thank you for making this journey and giving us or someone else the ability to begin or complete their family. You are making dreams come true.
Cal & Jennifer
We both work in the home improvement field. We love to work with our hands, get creative, and problem solve, so it’s a natural career for both of us. Jennifer loves her work as an interior designer. She’s crafty and gets to really engage in her clients’ lives to construct the perfect functional and stylistic plans. Cal is a swimming pool contractor. He remodels pools, constructs new waterfalls, builds fire features, and constructs new patios and decks. Basically, if the client wants something to enjoy in their backyard, he is able to bring it to life. The best part about both of our careers is that we can make our own schedule.
Our Home & Pets
We’re made for warm weather and ocean, which is why it was a no-brainer to move to our neighborhood and home. Our elementary/middle school is one of the highest rated, and it’s right down the road, where you’ll find just about everybody walking or riding bikes to school as a family. There are two parks nearby, so meeting up with neighbors and friends is easy. We’re in our dream home and never want to move as we love our swimming pool and backyard. Both of our dogs are rescue pups and amazing with kids. Drake is all boy and loves to play ball with anyone willing. Duchess is more of a cuddle bug.
Our Extended Family
We both come from very large families with lots of fun traditions. We have weekly interaction with Jennifer’s brother and sister-in-law. Sunday is our family day, where we hang by the pool, play volleyball, cook a homemade meal, and play an intense card game!
Cal’s family hosts a beautiful Thanksgiving each year up north with all extended friends and family. We enjoy a traditional menu with a few bonus recipes. His mom is the best cook. We can’t wait to teach a child how to make meals that were passed on from another generation and another country.
Christmastime is our favorite. Both of us scale way back on work because we do a trip to the mountains with friends and family. We rent a log cabin with a fireplace and hot tub, go for hikes, and play games all day. It’s such a simple, relaxing, fun time with the people we love. This trip always gets us excited for Christmastime. We find it so fulfilling to plan a trip. Sometimes it’s just a quick three-day weekend to the Keys; other times it’s a big ten-day adventure in Italy. We are so excited to have a child experience this world with us.
What Led Us To Adoption
About fifteen years ago, we were working in the fitness industry and had befriended a client of ours who had two adorable boys, whom she’d adopted. At the time, we weren’t thinking much about building a family, but their story was such an uplifting and heartwarming experience we agreed when it came time for us to start a family, we’d explore adoption. Adopting became a no-brainer for us when we had some difficulty conceiving. No one could convince us of medical treatments or therapies. We never wavered. We knew our destiny for growing our family was through adopting!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
