dear expectant mother
Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about our family and considering us during your adoption journey. We admire your courage, strength, and choice of creating an adoption plan, and we will be forever grateful for your courage and selflessness.
If you choose us, your child will be the center of our world, completing our family. They will grow up with unconditional love, support, safety, and encouragement. Our plan is to raise your child with all the love and care we can provide, doing whatever it takes to provide opportunities for them to explore their interests and dreams. We cherish family and traditions and are fortunate our family lives nearby and we can see each other frequently to create and share special memories together. We will raise your baby with creativity, adventures, memories, kindness, honesty, fun, and loads of unconditional love. We believe family is about love, always being there for one another, and supporting and encouraging each other along the way.
Our promise to you, should you bless us with this incredible gift, is that we will ensure your baby has a stable and secure future, and we feel that will happen by being open about the decision you are making and offering love and support in the most unconditional ways we know how. We are forever thankful to you for considering us to love your child unconditionally with all of our hearts.

We married in 2011 in a small, intimate ceremony. Luke works as an Operations Analyst III in Revenue Cycle, and Jen works part-time as an Operations Specialist within education and does family photography. Jen is very outgoing, friendly, and always willing to help others. Luke says she has a heart of gold. She loves photography, crafting, and sewing, but her favorite thing is being a wife and mom! She loves playing and reading to Brayden and helping him learn and grow. Luke is a friendly, quiet sports fan who enjoys yard work and being outside. Jen says Luke is very patient and a wonderful, doting dad. Our hobbies and interests revolve around home, family, and making memories. We enjoy gardening, cooking and baking together, spending time outside around our home, walking and biking, playing with our son, and going to local sporting events and fairs. We also enjoy crafting, board games, doing puzzles as a family, and playing with Brayden.
Our Home & Pets
We live in the upper Midwest and enjoy all the seasons and colors. In the summer of 2020, we purchased our forever home, a five-acre property in a rural neighborhood. We have a large fenced-in yard, lots of trees, and a garden. We love the simplicity and peace of raising our family here with larger communities nearby. We have three goldendoodles. One is 4 years old, one is 2 years old, and a new puppy. We also have four backyard chickens that we love as pets. The dogs love to snuggle and sleep with us as well as play in the backyard. We have a very nice, smaller school district known for both academics and sports. We value the tight-knit community we are a part of, where neighbors help each other and know each other.
Our Extended Family
We love family time and the many traditions we have throughout the year. A few favorites include baking cut-out sugar cookies with Luke’s parents for each holiday and fireworks on the Fourth of July. We celebrate birthdays together with a birthday dinner. A favorite tradition is one Jen’s mom had with her. Everyone has a birthday theme each year with a themed birthday cake. Jen loves to get Brayden holiday-themed pajamas or have Grandma make them for each holiday then doing photos with him and the dogs.
Every spring and summer, we go to the local zoo and county fair with Jen’s mom as well as the local petting zoo. A trip to the north shore is a family favorite every Memorial Day. We enjoy taking Brayden to the state fair each August. Our family loves to spend time around our home playing and making memories. We also have annual zoo memberships to enjoy the state zoo as much as possible throughout the year. A new favorite is going to the local Saturday farmers market and a vintage antique car show with Luke’s dad. Our favorite memories are playing around home, sledding, building snowmen, and enjoying summer evenings.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have considered adoption for some time. After years of praying for another child and Brayden begging for a sibling to play with, we were expecting our daughter. Sadly, in February of 2020, our daughter, Caroline, was a stillborn at 36 weeks. We feel God was nudging us toward the miracle of adoption. It was important to us to take time to heal, and while we did this, we were frequently talking about our missing piece and growing our family through adoption. Brayden has continued to ask for a baby to love and play with. We are so excited to take this step in completing our family while sharing our love, home, and traditions!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
