dear expectant mother

We have been waiting a long time to become parents and are excited to embark on this lifelong commitment. If you choose us, we will share your baby’s adoption story from the beginning and celebrate every milestone. We promise to be open minded and respect your wishes to have future communication at any level you’re comfortable with. Your child will always know how much you love them.
We will give them the tools and encouragement to follow their dreams, no matter how big or small. They will live in a safe home, and we will send them to good schools. We will always be by their side, reading them books, visiting the park, and giving them swimming lessons. We will kiss and hug them every day. We will spend weekends and holidays with a large, loving family full of traditions, games, and great food. We will spend vacations traveling to amazing places and introducing them to adventure, nature, diverse foods, music, and cultures.

We are not perfect, but we will work hard to provide the best life possible for your baby. Thank you for taking the time to read about us.

About Us

We met in a local hiking group and discovered our shared love for the outdoors, travel, sports, family, and adventure. Jen is a compassionate, kind, funny animal lover. Adrienne is a thoughtful, adventurous, smart book lover. With lots of extended family around, we get to see our parents weekly, and we regularly meet up with siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Both of us work in medicine at large health systems in San Diego, and our job security ensures that we can make this community our forever home. In our free time, you will find us snorkeling and kayaking, enjoying the local performing arts, following our local soccer team, and spending time with family. We hope to continue to visit national parks during our upcoming travel adventures.

Our Home & Pets

We own a home in the southern California suburbs, and after moving in, we put a lot of effort into making it our own. We added grass in the backyard, remodeled the patio, and planted fruit trees. The birds and butterflies of the neighborhood visit frequently. We have a desert tortoise named Buddy who roams the yard freely during the summer months. Our place is located near several parks, hiking trails, the city pool, and the library, all of which we use often. The local school district is the best in the region and was one of our draws to this community along with the low crime rate and small-town feel.

Our Extended Family

Our families ended up in San Diego because both of our grandfathers were career Navy.
Adrienne has many aunts, uncles, and young cousins in the area in addition to her parents, brother, sister, and niece. The family often gets together for family dinner on Sundays. Adrienne’s grandparents were big card players, and the tradition continues at family get-togethers. Little cousins run around the house, and any nearby adult willingly steps in to help the littles when needed. A new addition is going to be welcomed right into the fold of this family.

Jen’s family is smaller but will also be very excited for a baby. Her mom and dad live about two miles away with their family dog. We are over there for dinner or a swim in their pool weekly. Jen is very close with her grandparents and her uncle, who live about an hour from us. Jen’s brother and three-year-old niece are a few hours away, and we see them when work allows or when the family gets together at their grandparents’ house for major holidays, an event where Jen is the head chef!

What Led Us To Adoption

Over the last couple years, we have been on a long and disappointing path with our fertility specialists. We made several attempts to get pregnant, resulting in lots of testing and two miscarriages. Understanding that this journey is not always what one plans it to be, we have come to realize we were meant to build our family through the adoption process. We cannot wait to welcome a child into our loving home to watch them grow and learn. The opportunity to raise a little one into an amazing adult is an adventure we are excited to take on.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
