Thank you for taking a moment to read our profile. We know that this may be one of many profiles that you read today. We are overjoyed that you would take the time to learn about us and our story. We can only imagine the hard decisions you are facing, but we understand the desire to give your baby the best that life has to offer. We want to provide that to your child as well. We want to provide a safe home with lots of happiness, adventures, and most importantly, love.
Adoption is the gift of life to two people who have hoped and dreamed of having a child. We are very excited to be adoptive parents, and if you choose us, we will be with you every step of the way. There are not enough words to express our gratitude for considering us to be the adoptive parents for your child. Your courage speaks volumes about your character.
We have been best friends for 12 years and married for four years. We are very laid back easy-going people. Whatever life brings our way, we go with the flow and get through it together. We try to always find the good in every situation and in people. We love to laugh and to make each other laugh - we are mostly big kids at heart. We enjoy spending time outside whenever possible. We love to travel. We take a yearly vacation, either within the US or to a different country.
Ursula loves to paint - oil painting and acrylic. She also loves to cook, especially with fresh ingredients from her garden in the summer. Ursula also enjoys volunteering her time at a local art center for adults and kids. Jason has discovered recently a true talent for woodworking. He is also very helpful in the neighborhood, helping others with maintenance duties or fixing things.
Our Home & Pets
We have a three-bedroom ranch, which we had fun renovating together. We love our house with lots of trees around us. We have two huge, beautiful oak trees, a wrap-around deck, and a fenced-in yard. We live only blocks away from two parks in our area as well as a beach with a small lake. Our area schools are some of the best in the state and have many extracurricular activities to choose from.
We have two sweet dogs. Nala is a ten-year-old German Shepherd-Rottweiler mix. Meda is an energetic, fun-loving one-year-old Terrier-German Shepherd mix. She is still very much in the puppy phase. They are well-behaved and well-trained.
Our Extended Family
Jason’s mother, stepfather, and brothers, sister-in-law, nieces, and nephews all live within 15 miles of us. We have lots of gatherings with his grandmothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We spend lots of time together at the family’s summer cabin, and we have fun celebrating holidays and birthdays as well.
Ursula’s family lives near us as well. Ursula’s mom and one of her sisters and her brother-in-law are in the next town over. Ursula’s other sister lives with her husband on the east coast. We all have annual visits with each other. Ursula’s mom is a swim team coach for the local YMCA and has been coaching swimming for over 35 years. Swimming has always been a big part of the family. Everyone is very much involved in the swim team. Ursula’s parents moved over to the US from Germany. Ursula has many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Germany. Everyone visits each other every couple of years.
Both Ursula and Jason lost their fathers too soon, Jason’s father passed away from cancer five years ago and Ursula’s father died suddenly four years ago. They were a big part of both their lives but will always be remembered.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always known that we wanted a child. We have so much love in our hearts and we want our family to grow. We went through three years of infertility treatments. We could have continued the treatments, but we decided to end it after the second failed IVF treatment. It just wasn’t meant to be for us. We have always been open to adoption and decided that this is the right path for us to begin our family. Ursula’s cousin has already experienced this amazing opportunity to grow her family, by adopting two smart, sweet little girls. We are very excited about the adventure of starting a family with a little one.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
