Thank you for taking a moment to read our profile. We know that this may be one of many profiles that you read today. We are overjoyed that you would take the time to learn about us and our story. We can only imagine the hard decisions you are facing, but we understand the desire to give your baby the best that life has to offer. We want to provide that to your child as well. We want to provide a safe home with lots of happiness, adventures, and most importantly, love.
Adoption is the gift of life to two people who have hoped and dreamed of having a child. We are very excited to be adoptive parents, and if you choose us, we will be with you every step of the way. There are not enough words to express our gratitude at considering us to be the adoptive parents of your child. Your courage speaks volumes about your character.
We met 12 years ago through a mutual friend. We were each other's best friends for many years. It took us a while to realize we should be together, but we finally did. We fell in love. We have now been married for four years.
We love to laugh. We spend lots of time talking to each other about anything and everything. We also stay active, taking the dogs for walks at a nearby hiking trail or going to a museum or zoo. We also love just staying in to watch a movie.
Ursula loves to cook using healthy and fresh ingredients. Most of her free time is spent in her art room, painting an abstract landscape or sewing a new pillow for the couch.
Jason in his free time has discovered a talent for woodworking. He loves to read or play the occasional video game. He enjoys time watching a hockey game or sitting around a campfire with family and friends.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three bedroom, one and-a-half-bath ranch-styled home. We renovated it together. We love our backyard with these two huge beautiful oak trees, a big deck, and a fenced-in yard. We live two blocks away from a lake with a beach and also a park. We are only a train ride away from Chicago, which provides an abundance of fun activities for kids.
We have two dogs. Nala is a sweet, gentle, giant ten-year-old German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, and Meda is a fun-loving, energetic, one-year-old Rat Terrier/German Shepherd mix. They are both trained and very well behaved. We enjoy our daily walks with them.
Our Extended Family
Jason's mother, stepfather, two brothers, nephews, and niece all live within 15 miles of us. Both of his grandmothers and his aunt, uncle, and cousins live about an hour drive from us. We spend a lot of time all together at a summer cabin. We also spend all holidays and birthdays together celebrating.
Ursula's mother lives about 20 minutes away and her sister, brother-in-law, and nephews all live about 20 minutes as well. Ursula’s other sister and brother-in-law live on the east coast and see each other twice a year. Her aunt, uncle, and cousins all live about ten minutes away. Ursula’s parents moved to the U.S. from Germany. The German language and culture are a part of her daily life. Ursula has aunts, uncles, and cousins who live in Germany. Everyone tries to visit each other every couple of years. Ursula’s mom is a swim team coach and has been coaching for over 35 years.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always known that we wanted a child. We have so much love in our hearts and we want our family to grow. We went through three years of infertility treatments. We could have kept trying with infertility treatments, but we decided to end it after the second failed IVF treatment. It just wasn’t meant to be for us. We have opened our hearts to adoption, and we are so excited about the adventure of starting a family with a little one.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
