dear expectant mother
Thank you for reading our story. We have so many feelings we wish to share with you, and the first is gratitude for the chance to tell you about ourselves and our family. Second, we wish to share admiration, because we can only imagine the tremendous strength and courage it takes to choose life and consider an adoption plan. Most importantly, we feel love, for each other, for you, and for your baby.
Throughout the years, we have been building and preparing our home in anticipation of the day we can welcome a child into our lives. Our marriage is a partnership, and we strive to live our lives as good examples for a child to follow. We have a good work ethic and we demonstrate respect for each other. We are blessed to be at a point in our lives when we know we we can provide a child with a wonderful, caring, and fun life.
Your decision is not an ending, but a beautiful beginning. If you choose us as adoptive parents, your baby will grow up knowing about you and the incredible love and selflessness of his or her biological family. We will raise your child in a loving, supportive, encouraging, and active environment. We want your child to learn to develop his or her God-given talents. We pray that if and when you choose an adoptive family, you will feel a sense of peace, knowing that your child is loved and that you made the right decision.
We met fifteen years ago while acting in a local production of “A Christmas Carol.” Susie was drawn to Jason’s kindness, support, and optimism, and Jason was attracted to Susie’s outgoing nature, compassion, and strength. We have been married for twelve years now, and we enjoy spending our time together taking care of our small hobby farm, hiking, and boating. Susie’s love of nature and adventure draws her outside to work with animals and gardening. She has always worked with children, first as a naturalist, then as a bus driver and swim instructor. Jason has always spent time drawing and being creative, skills that he continues to use every day as an Art Director for a power tool company. He loves spending time with his family and pets.
Our Home & Pets
About three years ago, we bought our dream home: a small, three-acre hobby farm. It’s located in the beautiful farm country of South Carolina, near mountains and lakes. We have apple and peach trees, grapes, tomatoes, green tea plants, and pecan trees. Last year, we started beekeeping and hope to harvest fresh honey soon. On the farm, we have a horse named Spice; two dogs, Blaise and Pepper; two cats, Luna and Calypso; and a parrot named Jasper. The only thing missing is the incredible gift of sharing all this with a child.
Our Extended Family
We have been blessed with a large, loving, and supportive family, and our vacation time each year is spent traveling to be with them. The holidays are very important times for us, and we make sure to be together. Everyone has been very encouraging and excited about our decision to pursue adoption.
Susie has four sisters and one brother. Her siblings live all over the country, which gives us lots of opportunities to travel; her mom has a cabin on a lake in southern Kentucky, and we visit her there at least twice a year. It’s a family gathering place, where Susie’s kids and her nine nieces and nephews all enjoy watersports. They actually learned how to swim and water ski there!
Jason is the oldest of three children. He has a brother, Kevin, and a sister, Laura, both of whom are married, and Kevin and his wife just welcomed home a newborn son. Our home is centrally located, less than two hours away from both Kevin and Laura. We see them several times a year for pool parties, cookouts, hiking, and doggie play dates.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always felt a calling to the idea of growing our family through adoption, and we feel that providing a loving family and home for a child would be an incredible honor. Susie has two adult children from a previous marriage, and she feels her true calling in life is to be a mother. We are unable to have biological children and we believe that God has been telling us now is the right time to begin our adoption journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
