dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us. While we have not had a chance to meet you yet, we are honored and thrilled you are considering us to raise your baby. Having tried to start a family for seven years only to learn that infertility will prevent us from ever having children biologically, we are truly blessed you took the time to read our profile.

We are so excited at the possibility of having a chance to form special memories with your child, whether soaring through the air on flying adventures, enjoying the promising aroma of Margaret’s fresh-baked cookies, or spending time around the dinner table savoring one of Margaret’s special breakfasts. We are ecstatic you are contemplating giving us the privilege to love and nurture your child as they learn and grow.

We imagine the decision you face is both difficult and personal, and we pray that God will give you wisdom and peace as you weigh your alternatives. Above all, we earnestly desire nothing less than God’s best for you and for your child.

Warm regards,
Jason and Margaret

About Us

We met on Valentine’s Day 2004, were married 15 months later in Jason’s church, and have been happily married ever since. Jason loves working as a full-time IT professional and a part-time adjunct instructor for a community college. Jason also enjoys teaching piano lessons, playing the organ and piano, and directing the church choir he founded. Margaret is a homemaker who is thrilled at the possibility of becoming a future mom. Margaret previously enjoyed working in senior living communities as an activity director. Margaret also is an avid photographer with a keen eye for detail. When he is not working, you can find Jason flying small aircraft or practicing on his flight simulator. Jason particularly enjoys flying with Margaret, and we both look forward to the day when your child is old enough to fly with us. Besides flying, we enjoy board games, watching football, and Star Trek.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a three-bedroom townhome in Pennsylvania with our playful tabby cat, Clara. Our first floor’s spacious design makes it an inviting place for us to cook, eat, and relax. We’re sure your child will love spending time here being soothed by Jason’s piano music. Our house also features a patio that leads to a large, grassy common area with plenty of room for play. Our neighborhood is home to families of diverse ethnic backgrounds, and our region offers numerous cultural events and entertainment options. There are plenty of parks and playgrounds, with libraries, stadiums, a zoo, and two amusement parks only a short drive away. We especially enjoy attending baseball games of the local farm team in the spring and summer.

Our Extended Family

In March 2020 we moved closer to Jason’s parents and now enjoy a weekly tradition of sharing Friday night dinners with them. They are thrilled about becoming grandparents again! Jason’s twin brother, his wife, and our nephew live farther away, but we are able to see them through FaceTime. They are excited about becoming an uncle and aunt, and our nephew is looking forward to playing with his future cousin. Margaret’s parents live outside a quiet mountain village and are avid gardeners. Margaret’s mother is also a skilled weaver; your child will love her warm, homemade blankets.

While we aren’t close to Margaret’s family geographically, traditions and family events with Jason’s side of the family more than make up for it. There’s no shortage of memory making, laughter, and love waiting to embrace a new family member. Trips to Disney World and Vermont with Jason’s extended family are some of our happiest memories, and we look forward to sharing these special places with a child. We especially treasure celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas with both our families. One tradition that Jason’s family has adopted from Margaret’s family is opening English Christmas crackers to celebrate the New Year.

Since Jason is an identical twin, our nephew has occasionally mistaken him for his daddy. Jason dreams of the day when our own child will call him Daddy for the first time. He also has called Margaret Mommy, and Margaret is also looking forward to when our child will call her Mommy. We both have a great time with our nephew when he comes to visit us.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have been eager to grow our family for many years but for medical reasons are unable to have children biologically. After careful consideration and prayer, we resolved to pursue adoption. Since that time, our resolve has matured into a fervent passion for adoption. A number of our friends from church and college are themselves adopted and have championed us along our adoption journey. Most of all, we see adoption as a vivid portrait and practical living out of our Christian faith.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
