dear expectant mother
I cannot pretend to know what this decision must be like for you. Yet from my perspective, the consideration of adoption for your child makes you remarkably brave, kind, and selfless. I am truly humbled and blessed to be considered for the honor and joy of raising your baby. I thank you, I am in awe of you, and I appreciate you more than I could ever express through words.
I promise to love your child with all of my heart. I will provide a home where your child is loved, comforted, protected, and surrounded with beauty and grace. I will teach him or her to love and respect others, to be grateful for each opportunity and gift received, to love God, and to establish values and beliefs. I have such joy in my heart when I think about being able to read to your child each night; to give them a space for creativity; to unwrap Christmas presents around the tree with Grandpa, Grandma, and Uncle; to play outside in a sandbox, building castles and roads. I want to share the world. I will always allow your child to stand as an individual. I will be honest, and I will share your story with your child. Always, always know your child will be loved.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for considering me for this honor of loving, raising, and caring for your baby.
My name is Janet, and I have lived in Texas for 17 years, but I was born and raised in Iowa. I have a Master of Arts in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I currently work in the healthcare industry as a Physician Recruiter. Prior to that, I worked 12 years for a fitness club, specifically holding managerial positions as the Kids Activities Manager, Personal Training Manager, Member Services Manager, Training Specialist, and General Manager. In my free time, I enjoy being active through working out, running in races, golfing, and playing tennis or other sports, and I also enjoy attending church regularly and participating in a women’s Bible study group and volunteer opportunities. I look forward to growing my family in this environment and sharing my world with a little one!
My Home & Pets
I have a three-bedroom, single-story home. One of my favorite features is the backyard area, which is fenced in and has a beautiful patio. I very much look forward to spending time outside playing ball, blowing bubbles, and playing all sorts of games with your child. The driveway is secure and will be perfect for teaching your child to ride a bike, and my neighborhood is beautiful and quiet enough to go on plenty of walks! There are all kinds of events going on in my community year-round, such as outdoor festivals, holiday events, and local sporting attractions, and I cannot wait to take the little one to see the sights, learn, and have fun!
My Extended Family
My parents have been married for 47 years and live in the same small town in Iowa where I grew up. I have one brother, and he also lives in Iowa and is an elementary school teacher. We take turns traveling between the states to see each other, and we keep in touch often.
Some family traditions we have are going to a KC Royals baseball game each summer, spending Christmas together every year, going golfing with my Dad, getting pedicures with my Mom, and working out with my brother. And these are just a few of the things we always make time for! I am very close with my family and they will be able to help me take care of the child and be an active part of his or her life. They are all so excited to have a child in the family and will be a big blessing for your child. We cannot wait for our family to expand and to make sure your little one is surrounded by love.
What Led Me To Adoption
In 2016, I suffered two miscarriages, just eight weeks apart in time. Without doubt, this was the hardest thing I have ever been through and it devastated me. My boyfriend and I were not able to sustain our relationship after we lost our babies, but I know my heart’s desire is to be a mother. I have decided to pursue adoption because I know I will be able to provide a wonderful, loving, and nurturing life for the child that I will be blessed with, and through the experience my aunt and uncle have had after adopting my two cousins, I know adoption is the right path for me to build a life for myself and a future child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
