dear expectant mother

We cannot imagine what you are going through or feeling as you consider adoption. You are beyond brave and strong for considering this option and what will be in the best interests of you and your baby. We look forward to having the opportunity to speak with you and to get to know you and your growing baby, if you choose to.

Going from “if we can adopt” to “when we adopt” has made us indescribably happy! We have been looking forward to growing our family for several months and cannot believe this could be our reality soon! Our kids are over-the-moon excited to be having another sibling to love, cuddle, and gush over. Our youngest is also very excited to finally become a big brother. Our daughters cannot wait to pick out outfits for the baby to wear, help with feedings, and help with the occasional diaper change. Sharing a room with the baby has actually been requested from our youngest two kids! They want to be as close to the baby and as helpful as they can be. We are eternally grateful for the opportunity to work with you and the chance to be the parents you pick to love your baby wholeheartedly.

About Us

We met four years ago working at the credit union. We instantly became the best of friends. We have the same sense of humor and always make each other laugh, especially when having a rough day. We both love to laugh, joke, and be with friends and family as much as possible. Josh is the ultimate optimist, while Jamie is a realist. We believe we balance each other out perfectly due to this! Jamie likes to plan things out, while Josh relaxes and handles the “what-ifs” as they happen. As a family, we enjoy most sports, both watching and playing. We go to Cubs/Cardinal games each year, and Jamie even converted Josh to a Cubs fan! Jamie enjoys reading, dancing, tumbling, and crocheting blankets and hats. Josh is quite the handyman. He can fix just about anything around the house and enjoys building and learning new things!

Our Home & Pets

We live in Illinois surrounded by parks, club sports programs, school sports programs, and activities in and around town. The city hosts fun festivals each summer and fall along with parades, school dances, fundraisers, and community help opportunities. Our neighborhood is full of children of all ages, and we are close with parents and kids who are all within walking distance. We have two pets. Nova Wrigley is a two-year-old silver Lab who loves kids and snuggling. She even thinks she’s a lap dog. Maverick Rossy is a one-year-old white kitty with one blue eye and one tan eye. He is so handsome and soft. He loves to snuggle at bedtime and enjoys lying in the sun.

Our Extended Family

Jamie has three daughters and one son from a previous relationship. While they are Josh’s stepkids, he loves them as his own, and they love him! Jamie has three brothers and one sister. Josh has three sisters. Between the two of us, we have 17 nieces and nephews. We love to celebrate achievements, birthdays, holidays, and each other! We get together each Saturday to visit with grandparents in town.

Our favorite family tradition is cutting down our Christmas tree after Thanksgiving and decorating it while listening to the same Christmas CD each year! We get a new family ornament each year as well. We go to Florida once or twice each year to visit Jamie’s dad and stepmom and Josh’s mom and stepdad. We enjoy visiting the beach and Disney World. Jamie’s mom and stepdad live close by in town, and her mom picks the kids up from school each day. Tradition has Jamie’s mom hosting Thanksgiving each year. We also visit Josh’s family in Kansas during holiday breaks. We love to travel and see new places.

What Led Us To Adoption

Jamie has five cousins who were adopted; her best friend’s brother was also adopted. Adoption was all around Jamie growing up, and she always knew she would adopt one day. We began looking into IVF and adoption several months ago. After a lengthy talk one night, we agreed adoption was the option we felt we were being pulled toward. We would love the opportunity to raise a baby together surrounded by love, siblings, friends and family, and, of course, pets.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
