dear expectant mother
Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and to learn about us and the life we want to be able to provide for your child. We cannot imagine how difficult it must be to consider an adoption plan, and we are humbled you would consider us to raise your baby. If we are chosen, we promise to give your baby unconditional love and to raise him or her with your example of bravery and selflessness.
Jamie’s college degree is in education, and she can’t wait to teach your baby to read, to love language, and to always be curious about the world around them. John wants to share his love of travel and sports and maybe even one day be their coach as well as parent. But most importantly, we want to give your child the opportunity to figure out what they love most in life and to support them in that journey, whatever it may be.
It would mean the world to us to bring your child into our remarkably loving family, and we would be honored to answer any questions you might have as you consider this meaningful decision.

We are Jamie and John! We met while standing up as a bridesmaid and groomsman at the wedding of two of our best friends. Three years later, we walked down the aisle as bride and groom at our own wedding. Jamie works in marketing and advertising at an online newspaper and is able to work entirely from home. John is a senior accountant at a research lab just five minutes away. We love to read books, listen to podcasts, hike, and travel. Jamie still owns a real camera and loves to create photo albums as gifts for friends and family. John is a runner and a baker, who loves to make fresh bread, pizza, and pasta from scratch. But mostly, we love to walk around our neighborhood and visit our friends and family members who live nearby. And we’re so excited to grow our family!
Our Home & Pets
We live in a wonderful Illinois suburb in a three-bedroom, two-bath split ranch home. We have a large, fenced-in backyard. We have two playful, loving cats that snuggle with us and make us laugh every day—Atticus and Faulkner. Our house is just two blocks away from the elementary school and two blocks away from a beautiful park, but the best part is that it’s just a ten-minute walk through the neighborhood to Jamie’s parents’ house. e.
Our Extended Family
We feel so lucky to have a large extended family! Jamie has one sister and two first cousins who feel like sisters, and John has one brother. We have six nieces and nephews whom we spend lots of time with; we even homeschooled three of them during the COVID quarantine while Jamie’s sister was at work.
Each summer we travel to Mississippi for an annual family reunion and spend a week at a lake resort, swimming, fishing, and appreciating a slower pace of life. In the fall, we celebrate Thanksgiving (and MSU football) with John’s family. For Christmas each year, we go to a hotel in Wisconsin and spend three days with Jamie’s family, eating cookies and playing board games. Our families can’t wait for us to adopt and to make memories with the newest member of the family.
What Led Us To Adoption
Due to a medical condition of Jamie’s, we’ve always known having biological children could be difficult. Before we were even married, we talked about growing our family through adoption. Between the two of us, we have four adopted cousins and have always known the love of a family doesn’t rely on biology. Our families are just as excited as we are for us to start on the journey to adopting a child and bringing home someone new for everyone to love.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
