dear expectant mother
Hi! We are Jamie and Brittany, and we are so honored that you are considering us as prospective parents. We are humbled by your strength and courage to pursue adoption and we are excited to extend our family through this process. Even though we haven't met you yet, we want you to know that we have been praying for you and your baby since the moment we decided to pursue adoption. We know the decisions you have to make are very difficult, and we want you to know that we are continually praying that you will find peace as you make the choice you feel is best.
If you choose us, we promise you that your baby will be loved immensely and surrounded by a supportive family from the very beginning. We promise that we will raise your child in a fun, loving, and Christian home. Your child will be cared for, supported, loved, and encouraged on a daily basis. We promise to shower your child with praise, to take him or her to every traveling sport or activity he or she chooses to partake in, and to celebrate every milestone achieved. We will raise your child knowing the beautiful story of how he or she came to be with us and that family is created on the foundation of love and nothing else. We, along with our extended family, are so eager to begin our adoption journey. It would be such an honor to bring your precious baby into our homes and lives.
We met in South Carolina in 2009 and we instantly hit it off. We dated for a year before becoming engaged, and we were married in December 2010. We are best friends and have been blessed with a beautiful, blue-eyed, four-year-old son and a gray-eyed one-year-old son. We currently reside in South Carolina and are true southerners at heart. We love taking our boat out on the water and exploring the waterways around us or going for walks along the bike path that is near our house. We are also minutes from the beach and just love spending time near the water. We are huge college football fans and love to cheer on the Clemson Tigers, which is where Brittany went to college, and the Ohio State Buckeyes, which is where Jamie’s father went to college.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a single-story home in South Carolina. Our neighborhood has a boat dock and waterway access that leads directly to the ocean, and we go out on our boat all year long. Our backyard connects to a beautiful walk and bike path that we use often, and we are just a few miles from numerous beaches. We have two dogs: a German Shepherd named Samson and a Border Collie-Mix rescue named Tres. They both enjoy being outdoors and following after our sons. Our recently remodeled home has three bedrooms, sunroom, three bathrooms, and a pool, along with a separate office space where Brittany works. Our yard has numerous palm trees around our pool and we try to be outside as often as possible.
Our Extended Family
Family is so very important to both of us and we are very fortunate to have a large and very fun family on both sides. We wouldn't be where we are today without the support and love from both sides of our extended family. Most of our siblings played sports in college, so we are all very active. We are very close to them and try to get together as much as possible. We are usually together for all holidays and birthdays and plan as many trips together as possible. When we are together, there is sure to be lots of fun, food, and laughter. We are fortunate to have our grandparents in our lives as well and lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins that live all over the US. This gives us ample opportunity to travel often.
What Led Us To Adoption
We both separately felt led to seek adoption as a way to extend our family. After prayerfully considering when the best time was to pursue that, in December of 2014, we felt it was time for us to do so. We strongly believe that adoption is a central view of the Bible. We are very thankful for a Savior that has adopted us into His family and we are so excited to extend that love in our own lives and within our own family. We serve a God who loves each and every one of His children and calls us to show that love to others. We believe family has nothing to do with genes but everything to do with love.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
