dear expectant mother
We feel extremely blessed that you would consider our family as a potential home for your baby. We have spent our lives up until now focusing on our educational and professional goals. We are now ready to dedicate the remainder of our lives to your child. You will never have to worry about your child being in need of anything, but we will also instill the value of the dollar and hard work necessary to become a valued member of society. Our parents worked hard to provide us with safe and comfortable homes that gave us the foundation to be successful. We look forward to passing these same characteristics and values on to our child.
Our parents and extended families are anxiously awaiting the new addition to our family. We simply cannot wait to wear our matching Christmas pajamas, travel to different countries, and support the adventures of a child! Your baby will immediately become the center of not only our world and home but also the world of a large extended family beyond grandparents, aunts, and uncles that includes second and third cousins who are anxious to visit, spoil your baby, and steal hugs.
We both work in higher education at a university in our town. We are able to see each other throughout the day, enjoying lunch together and collaborating on projects to support the university and our community. We have a genuine love and respect for each other as husband and wife, working professionals, and best friends. We look forward to wrapping up our workdays in our new home making dinner and playing and relaxing with our bulldog, Harper. Our weekends are relaxing and busy as we attend community events and work on our house. We also enjoy traveling, hiking, and exploring new towns on our weekends.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a large three-bedroom and three-bathroom 1960s ranch with an outdoor patio and built-in grill, on a cul de sac. Our five-year-old bulldog enjoys lounging on the deck and going for strolls in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is full of families with children and pets! Each of our neighbors knows Harper by her name and enjoys her visits. We attend university sporting events, student and professional theater performances, and other community events where we always see our neighbors and colleagues from the university.
Our Extended Family
Both sets of grandparents are elated at the prospect of a grandchild entering into their world. Lisa’s father is already asking what he can make for the baby when he is working in the community woodshop, and her mother is anxiously waiting to buy new things for the baby’s nursery. Jake’s parents have already created a list of things that they are bringing to our house from Jake’s childhood for the baby.
Our sisters, aunts, and cousins are all “on call” to visit and help us welcome a new baby into our family. We cannot wait to introduce our baby to the annual family beach vacation and the special Christmas traditions celebrating our Italian heritage.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have watched adoption work for virtually our entire lives. Jake’s younger sister was adopted 30+ years ago from South Korea, and today she has the world at her fingertips with a stellar job and top-notch education. She will be an excellent aunt and support system to our adopted child. Just as adoption helped to grow our current family decades ago, we look forward to the opportunity to grow our own family through adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
