dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile. We already have a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for you. The love and courage you have in considering an adoption plan for your child is beyond admirable. If you decide to make an adoption plan with us, we promise to always make sure you feel supported and respected. We promise to surround your child with love and faith, to always put your child first, and to give him or her the best life we can.

We are a family of openness, kindness, generosity, and especially humor. We practice and teach these values in our lives every single day. We respect the decision you are making of a future for your baby and hope we can be part of your child’s life. Your child will always know where he or she came from and how much you love him or her.

About Us

We have been a couple for over 13 years and have been married for six. We met through a mutual friend, and we were friends for almost a year before we realized we were in love with each other. Katrina has been a NICU nurse for 17 years, and Jaclyn has been a police officer for three years. We both love our jobs because we get a chance to help people and our community. Jaclyn just recently got a job promotion to community policing and is now working with a Boys and Girls Club and a group foster home for boys. We love to go to Disney every chance we get and enjoy going to our beach house and relaxing by the ocean. During our workweek, we enjoy spending time at home lying by the pool or fishing off our dock.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is a three-bedroom house with a dedicated playroom. We have a beautiful pool with Finding Nemo characters in the tiles. There is a playhouse in our yard and a super cool Thomas the Train roller coaster. We live in Florida and are fortunate enough to live on a canal with a dock; this gives us an amazing breeze in our yard year-round, which really helps with the Florida heat. We have several families in our neighborhood with small children whom we are extremely close to, and we are within walking distance of an A-rated elementary school and several parks. We have an extremely spoiled cat named KiKi, who loves to curl up and snuggle with any lap that’s available.

Our Extended Family

We are blessed to have Jaclyn’s family within minutes of our home. Every Christmas Eve it is a family tradition at Jaclyn’s parents’ house to eat, open presents, and guess how Santa will be arriving. One year Santa arrived by boat, another time he came down the chimney, and last year he appeared in the backyard. Every holiday is celebrated with family and each include numerous family traditions that have been passed down for generations.

We go to Jaclyn’s parents’ house every week with her brother, sister-in-law, and nephews for Family Dinner. Each week, a different person picks the meal, and Jaclyn’s mom makes it from appetizer to dessert. Jaclyn is the youngest of four and has seven nieces and nephews.

Katrina’s parents live in West Virginia. Her older sister and brother-in-law live in California, and we vacation with them at least twice a year. Katrina’s cousins plan a “cousins trip” every other year, and we all cram into a house, play games together, and go on adventures. Our entire family is ecstatic about us embarking on the adoption journey and cannot wait to welcome a new baby into our family.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are very excited about the opportunity to adopt and to share our home and love. We have been foster parents for three years and have helped six children grow and blossom and then go on to thrive in their own lives. We enjoyed our foster journey and wish to continue in the future. After many long conversations and prayers, we both feel in our hearts that now is the time for us to embrace the path of adoption, and we hope our prayers are answered. Our extended family has been touched by adoption as well. We love knowing that we can welcome your child, who comes from a beginning of such love and selflessness, into our lives.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
