dear expectant mother

Having and caring for a child is perhaps one of the greatest responsibilities in life. We understand that due to various life factors, circumstances, and timing, being a parent may not be the best option for you at this time. We want to support you in these difficult decisions. We understand this is possibly the most difficult decision you may ever have to make. We are so unbelievably grateful to be considered for the opportunity to love and care for your child. This adoption would make our greatest dreams come true.

Your child will never want for love, support, stability, education, and acceptance with us. We want you to know that whether or not you choose us to parent your child, our hearts are with you. Having two children ourselves, we know how much love you already have for your unborn baby. We felt the same way! We want what is best for you and your baby, and we truly respect you for making these hard decisions.

If you choose us, we promise you we will love your child deeply. We really want to support you however you want this adoption to look. If you want an open, semi-open, or closed adoption, we are more than happy to follow what you would like, even if it means cross-country visits. We love to travel, and road trips have been the best!

About Us

We love spending time together as a family. We do lots of outdoor activities, such as camping, biking, fishing, and sledding. We complement each other, with Kris being an introvert who enjoys his time at home creating things while Hiedi is an extrovert, a social butterfly who loves to explore and meet new people. She works as a delivery nurse and loves working with and caring for others. Hiedi loves getting lost in a great book. Kris works as a design engineer with a side fabrication business, which he enjoys as it allows him to use his creativity. Kris is often working on some project around the house. The most important thing to us is making time for each other and our children. We both love family time and have a heart for traveling.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a large split-level home on 10 acres of wooded land outside a small town. We enjoy walking through the trails together, gardening, and picking berries. In the winter, we enjoy our sledding hill, snowshoeing, and watching the deer and turkeys. Our family also consists of three cats and two smaller dogs. We have 25 egg-laying chickens. Kris is very handy and has been remodeling the house and rebuilding a shed for his work. We live in a safe neighborhood that has the small town feel. The school district is smaller and has been a great fit for our children. There are numerous school clubs and activities for them to be involved in. The several small lakes and rivers are great for fishing and boating. There are also many beautiful state trails that are great for biking and family walks.

Our Extended Family

We come from homes where our parents are still married for almost 40 years. Kris comes from a smaller family and has one sister. His parents and sister live close by, and we often get together for dinner and attend kids’ activities together during the week. Hiedi’s family is vibrant and boisterous. She has two brothers, two nephews, three nieces, one great-nephew, and lots of cousins. They love to get together for the holidays, birthdays, and camping.

Both sides get along great and are very supportive of everything we do. With Kris’s family living within 15 miles, we have been able to raise our two children without daycare. We have regular family reunions on both sides, and both families are close knit.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption was always something that was on our hearts. Hiedi has three adopted cousins in her family. Before we decided to start a family, we had decided that if we were not able to have biological children, we would adopt as we wanted a large family. We have been blessed to be able to have two biological children. Hiedi had difficult births and had complications after our daughter. Our son was diagnosed with autism around that time. We decided we should not have more biological children due to the risks. We are excited to grow our family through adoption. We know we have more love in our hearts for another child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
