dear expectant mother

The most important thing to know is that I will love your child with every piece of my heart and will support them in being a strong, loving, capable, independent person. I’ve learned so much in my 20 years as a teacher, and I will bring everything I’ve learned and have yet to learn to support and love your child.

If I were to raise your baby, we would road trip through the national parks, travel to explore cultures through food and experiences, and be active and in nature as much as possible! I also look forward to time at home building a garden, cooking, and enjoying life.

I thank you for taking the time to get to know me; I realize this is a monumental decision. Your tremendous courage and love for your child are inspirational. You are truly giving someone the ultimate gift of love: being a parent to your child. With me, your child will always know how much you love them, and you will know as much about them as you wish. I’ve always wanted a large family and would be happy to have you be a part of it. If you decide you would like a closed adoption, I am happy to respect that as well. My interest lies in your child having the most supportive family possible, and whatever I can do to support that, I am happy to do.

About Me

I have an adventurous spirit and moved from Ohio where I grew up to go to school in North Carolina to study marine biology. I believe in living a life you love and have always traveled and taken the opportunity to have amazing experiences whenever I could. The best experience I’ve ever had was a seven-day diving trip 200 miles off the coast of Australia. I can’t wait to share more adventures with my family! My passion for the environment led me to study marine biology and education, and I have always taught science. I love learning new teaching practices and getting children excited to learn about the environment. This has led me to start a home daycare/preschool to allow me to stay home and raise my children while still creating the opportunity to connect with children through education.

My Home & Pets

I recently moved to Washington. I’m currently in a two-bedroom house until I buy a house in the area. I’m looking for a three-bedroom, two-bath house with a yard surrounded by trees and many windows for natural light. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and would like the living area to be the center of the house. I look forward to teaching my children to cook! Nearby is a huge lake with many hiking trails and forested areas in and around the town. This neighborhood is also part of the best school district in the area. My dog, Cody, has been my buddy for over 12 years and loves nature and the ocean as much as I do.

My Extended Family

I grew up an only child and have always been very close to my parents and grandparents. Both sets of grandparents have passed, but through their passing, I have found extended family. I have grown close with a cousin in New York and five more cousins in Seattle who are amazing people! My mother lives in Florida in a retirement community, where she has a great community of people. She and I travel yearly out of the country and spend the holidays together somewhere with snow and a fireplace. My dad passed away just over four years ago, and I miss him every day. We bonded over golf and football, and I always had his constant support and love.

One Christmas tradition we’ve always had is the German tradition of the pickle. My mom would always hide the pickle ornament in the tree, and whoever found it got an extra gift. My dad and I always battled it out, and it was great fun. We also always made Christmas cookies for a cookie exchange with the neighbors. I look forward to bonding with my new neighbors and keeping these family traditions alive.

What Led Me To Adoption

I have always wanted to be a mother, and as an only child, I wanted a big family. When my dad passed, I realized I shouldn’t wait any longer to start my family. I tried IVF for four years and know now that my path to become a mother will be through adoption. I moved from San Diego to Washington to find the perfect place to settle down with plenty of nature, a slower pace, and the ocean nearby. I do not currently have a partner in my life, but when the right man comes into my life, I look forward to having him join me and my children to create more love for the family I am creating.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
