dear expectant mother

While our journey has been much different than many of our peers, we know we are destined to be wonderful parents. Ultimately, adoption is the reason our paths crossed, and we are so excited to continue this journey with our own adoption. We have explored other options to grow our family, but in our hearts, we ultimately know providing a loving, nurturing home through adoption is the best decision to continue our story. We have each experienced our own hardships and successes that made us who we are today. We pray you find peace in knowing we would provide a supportive home filled with love, laughter, and excitement.

We completely understand your journey has not always been easy, and your decision will certainly not be an easy one to make. We want you to know, no matter what, we will always admire you for choosing life for your child. We may not know you, but we know you have tremendous courage to consider this decision. We sincerely thank you for taking the time to review our profile and for considering us to adopt your precious baby. We are so excited to start our family!

About Us

We both grew up in North Carolina. We actually went to the same schools since the third grade. Timothy gained interest in Heather when he discovered she was good at calculus (and he wasn’t). When we began talking, we discovered we would be going to the same university, where we inevitably fell in love. We became engaged during our freshman year of college and got married in 2013. Heather graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2015 and Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2018. She practices as a retail pharmacist and manager of her location. Timothy graduated with a Bachelor of Trust in Wealth and Master of Business Administration in 2016. Timothy is a senior financial service officer specializing in mortgages and loans. Outside of work, we love to travel and spend time outdoors whenever possible!

Our Home & Pets

We have recently moved from our small starter home to a much larger five-bedroom house with plenty of room to grow our family! It is located in a very family-friendly neighborhood with other children who are eager to play. The neighborhood also has a pool, large lake, and walking trails. We have two dogs in the household, a border collie named Daisy and a Lab/corgi mix named Tammy. They both LOVE children and their new neighborhood with plenty of room to roam and a large backyard to play in.

Our Extended Family

Timothy’s father sadly passed away in 2008. Unfortunately, Heather never had the privilege of meeting him, but he is still in all of our hearts. Timothy’s mother lives with us for minimal assistance and company. She has been there throughout our journey together and has been babysitting our neighbors’ children often to help keep active! She often shares guidance with her own adoption experience and shares her excitement for growing our family!

Heather’s mother and father moved to Virginia to support her extended family after her high school graduation. Recently, her parents have actually begun fostering children at their home in Virginia and have shared the steps of their journey with Heather and Timothy throughout the process. They are so excited to be future grandparents!

What Led Us To Adoption

Timothy was actually adopted from Bulgaria at four years old. Although we have made attempts to have biological children for at least two years, we have always had adoption in our hearts to continue Timothy’s story. We feel this is our time to start this journey and start the family we know we’re destined to have. We know the nurturing environment we will provide is ultimately what any child could dream of.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
