dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We are praying for you while you consider your options and make the best decision possible for you and your baby. We are so grateful you recognize adoption as an avenue you could take and are so excited to make our dreams of growing our family come true.
We thank you for taking the time to learn about us and consider us as parents for your baby. We promise to always love your child and will continually remind them that you love them as well. We want them to experience the best things life has to offer: enjoying the outdoors, learning how to ride a bike, splashing in the water on a hot summer day, acing their chemistry exam, and graduation. While these are all joyous moments, the bad moments will happen as well, and we will be there to guide them through them in a loving, Christian way.
We are profoundly grateful and excited about this opportunity; it is in our thoughts and prayers to support whatever needs you may have during this journey of looking for the perfect family for your baby. We cannot wait to welcome a baby into our home. Thank you for getting to know our family!
Matthew works as a quality manager at a local factory. Heather works part time as an Army Reservist member and is working on completing her bachelor’s degree in nursing. We both enjoy working with people in different ways and feel incredibly fortunate to enjoy what we do for a living. We met in Texas while serving in the military and lived there for two years. Matt left the Army, and Heather decided to join him on his move to Illinois and to pursue a career in nursing. We have been married over four incredible years. We enjoy family time together with our three-year-old daughter. We enjoy going to the zoo, aquariums, playgrounds, local fairs, and festivals. We frequently make time to visit extended family and friends, enjoying the special bonds we have with them.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a four-bedroom, multi-story home in a friendly neighborhood. We are blessed to have amazing neighbors who have welcomed us with open arms and entertain our daughter every chance they get. We enjoy tending to our garden; whether it’s trying a new tomato sauce recipe or learning how to pickle the cucumbers, we love having fresh vegetables available during the summer. We live near a park, pool, activity center, and walking path and in a highly rated school district. Depending on which direction we go, a short drive will allow us to spend time in the city or the country, making it easy to get to any activity we choose. We have one cat, Salt, who is friendly and loves to snuggle.
Our Extended Family
Matthew grew up in a small town in Connecticut and has one brother. Coming from an Italian family, Matt is accustomed to big family gatherings and a lot of great Italian food to enjoy. With one grandparent left and extended family living all over, it is nice to catch up and talk sports with the cousins when visiting. Heather grew up in a small town in Iowa with three brothers, surrounded by fields of corn. Heather was always outside with her brothers, playing sports and staying active. This is continued today during holidays and family get-togethers as the cousins are growing up and having children of their own.
When we got married, we made a commitment that spending time with our families was extremely important to us. As many people do, we alternate what holidays we spend with the different sides of the family; it gives our daughter and us the chance to see everyone throughout the year. One tradition Matt is ready to teach our daughter is the rolling of the cavatelli noodles that his grandfather would make for every Easter dinner.
What Led Us To Adoption
We both had adoption on our hearts before we ever met. Matthew was fortunate to volunteer with an organization that helped children in Haiti while in high school and college. Heather always enjoyed working with children, from growing up babysitting to working with children with mental and physical disabilities. She always had it in her mind she was going to adopt someday. We decided it was time to pursue adoption after we experienced the loss of our son, Gabriel, from preterm birth. We are excited to go on this adoption journey and cannot wait to bring home a new little one to join our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
