dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We both know this is a tough decision you’re considering, and we’ve been praying for you and your baby for a long time, long before you even viewed our profile. We are so very proud of you for considering such a bold decision for your baby. Your courage and bravery will be remembered always!
Your baby will be loved as our own and welcomed into our household. We live out in the country where it’s quiet, with lots of land to run on and a garden to help care for. On Sundays, we’ll all go to church together, where your baby will interact with other children and make friends, all while learning that he or she is loved and wonderfully made by God. Holidays will have another seat at the table with the newest addition to the family, and Christmas will be a huge joy as we unwrap presents together and experience the happiness on your baby’s face. We are passionate about learning all we can about diversity, and we love experiencing new cultures and meeting so many beautiful people in this world. This will continue to be a constant conversation in our home, and showing your child all the beautiful perspectives of God’s beauty in humanity is one of the many joys of life we are beyond excited to share.
With each passing day, we think about and pray for you and your baby. Thank you again for considering us to care for your child.
Jonathan & Heather
What began as simply borrowing power tools from a pastor led to our current relationship and marriage. Heather’s father wasn’t home at the time Jon arrived, so she went outside to show Jon where the tools were stored. This then led to many dates and eventually our marriage. Jon works full-time as a graphic designer, while Heather works in human resources dealing with young individuals on a regular basis. We live in the country surrounded by farm fields, and we have two dogs, a cat, and nine chickens. On the weekends, Heather sings and plays guitar on stage with the church’s worship band, and Jon works on handy projects around the home or on the car in his spare time.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a single-story home on an acre and a half out in the country. We’re only a few miles away from the city, allowing us to have privacy but also to be close to family, friends, and the many attractions our town offers, such as parks, the zoo, or the art museum. We’re surrounded by cornfields for miles, and there are lovely cows right across the street from us. We have two dogs, a cat, and nine chickens, which keep us entertained with their antics and personalities. Our backyard is a great open space for us to do many outdoor activities with our friends and family.
Our Extended Family
Jon’s immediate family consists of his father and sister, who both live a couple of hours away in the same state. Heather’s immediate family is made up of her mother, father, older brother, and younger sister. Her brother and sister-in-law have two wonderful young boys. Heather’s family all lives within five to ten minutes of one another in the same town.
During the holidays, we get together as a family and celebrate. Holidays such as Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas draw everyone together for large gatherings with plenty of food and quality time together. Our immediate family also loves spending time at Heather’s parents’ house to play games, watch movies, cook meals together, and swim in the pond.
Our families are beyond excited for us to adopt! They know this has been a passion of ours, and we know we have an amazing team to help us raise this child. Love and community are the heartbeat of our family, and we know they will adore this child almost as much as we do!
What Led Us To Adoption
Before getting married, we both discussed wanting a family with children one day. Adoption is something we both shared with one another, to each other's surprise. It was a goal for us even before we had met one another, so it was amazing to see how we both wanted the same thing. We are passionate about doing what we can to best love anyone and everyone we come in contact with, and we want to do this the best we can for a mom and her baby. We want to be able to open our home to children and show them not only our love but God’s love for them.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
