dear expectant mother
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. As we are writing this letter, our hearts are pounding at the thought of growing our family. We are also excited because having our son through this process has shown us how special adoption is. We are also thinking about the wide range of emotions you must be feeling. We pray that God will guide you in this decision. We also want you to know how much we respect you and understand how difficult the decision you are making is.
Both of us hope to teach your baby to enjoy outdoor activities, sports, and animals. Heather looks forward to teaching your baby about soccer and science. Jeff looks forward to teaching your child about baseball and also how to read. Our son looks forward to being a great big brother.
We want you to know that if you choose us, we will raise your baby to know that he or she is loved unconditionally. We promise to give your baby the emotional support and moral guidance he or she will need to one day be a good and decent person. We will raise your baby to follow his or her dreams. We want to encourage your child to be the best version of him- or herself, whatever the future may hold. We will always listen, be willing to learn, and give love.
Thank you for considering us.
We are very active and conscientious people that value family above all else. Heather has her own finance business, while Jeff works as a lawyer. Our careers provide us with flexible schedules and financial stability. A year and a half ago, we agreed that adoption was the next step in growing our small family; we have a one-year-old son who is amazing, and he will be an incredible big brother. We met ten years ago and knew right away we were meant for each other. We enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and skiing, but we also enjoy going to the movies and museums. More than anything, we enjoy spending time with our son, our two young nieces, and our two dogs, who provide a never-ending source of entertainment. In the summer, we go to lots of baseball games. During the winter months, we’re cheering on our favorite hockey team and skiing.
Our Home & Pets
We chose our home because it is close to a lot of outdoor activities as well as family. We are steps from a park, a short drive from beautiful hiking, and almost within sight of Jeff’s favorite activity—golf. We built our home large enough to have many children shortly after getting married, and we have one child through adoption. We wanted our home to be a special place that nobody else had called home. There aren’t a lot of quiet or boring moments at our house because there’s usually something happening, whether it’s friends coming by to visit with their kids or relatives visiting. Everyone loves our two dogs, silly goldendoodles, who are extremely loving and playful and give lots of slobbery kisses.
Our Extended Family
Heather has a very large family, full of aunts, uncles, and lots of cousins. Heather’s parents live nearby, as does her sister, Amy, with her husband, Jim. Amy and Jim have two young daughters who are regularly at our house playing in our yard with our dogs and our son. Family get-togethers for Heather’s family always need to be held somewhere that can hold a lot of people because 100 often show up! Heather’s family enjoys getting together for cookouts during the summer and Sunday dinners as often as possible. Our holidays are very busy. Family is the number one priority.
Jeff’s family is smaller. Jeff’s cousins live close to us, and his brothers and their wives live within 45 minutes. We have many family traditions. On Christmas Eve, the family plays a game of Trivial Pursuit. It brings out the competitive nature in us. The day after Christmas, we all go skiing for a week. You can also find us together at many baseball games in the summer. We love baseball!
Our Adoption Story
We were married nine years ago and wanted to start a family immediately. We started our fertility journey with IVF treatments when we discovered that having a child on our own would be difficult. After multiple attempts, we had a few miscarriages. We discussed adoption throughout the process. As our journey progressed, it became clear that adoption was the right path for us. We began meeting with adoption agencies because we knew we needed to find the right fit. After meeting with Angel Adoption, our minds were at ease. We felt at peace knowing they would help us achieve our dream of growing a family. Through Angel Adoption, we were able to add our son to our loving family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
