dear expectant mother
We are loving parents who can’t wait to continue building our family with another little bundle of joy. We look forward to a life of happiness, growing pains, adventure, learning, and love.
We cannot express enough our gratefulness to you. We wish we could understand a fraction of what you must be going through and what has led you to the decision to consider adoption. Our hearts are with you. We would love the opportunity to be the people you choose to raise your child. We hope you would be a part of our lives too, if that is something you want. We know the difficult decisions ahead of you as you plan for your baby’s future, and we hope you allow us the honor of being part of your plan.
We promise to raise your baby in a safe home filled with love and lots of cuddles and laughs. We promise a life of adventure and thoughtful educational experiences.
We hope you feel a connection with us, and we look forward to getting to know you.
We met online and knew we would have an amazing life together with more love than we have ever known. It has not always been an easy road, and we are so grateful for this life together. Bonnie is a teacher, and Heather is an athletic administrator at the university level. We both love our careers. We are both quick witted and sarcastic and find ourselves always laughing, enjoying life’s humor. We adopted our son, Alex, in August 2018. We are so full of love for him and want to share our life with another little one. We love to live life to the fullest, whether that is traveling the world or exploring activities nearby. We enjoy walking in our neighborhood and going to the park down the street. We love to enjoy life’s experiences, like seeing shows, visiting orchards, going mini golfing, going hiking, and having backyard barbeques.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a beautiful neighborhood with a park across the street from our house. Our town is rural but just ten minutes away from suburban amenities and only an hour away from Chicago. Our community has a great small-town feel with fantastic schools. Our neighbors are friendly, and there are tons of kids on our street and throughout the neighborhood. We love that when we go for a walk to the park, people say hi and wave. Max and Gus are our fur babies. They are spoiled beyond belief, mostly because they are so cute and cuddly. They are two of the most affectionate cats we have ever had, and they love having a baby in the house.
Our Extended Family
Our families are complete opposites, which adds to our character. Heather has a big family that lives two hours north of us. Heather’s parents are incredibly dedicated grandparents. She has one sister, who is married with a son and daughter, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family get-togethers are large events, but they all remain very close. Many of Heather’s cousins have younger children, and we are excited about having the kids grow up together.
Bonnie’s family is much smaller. Her parents have both passed away. Her brother and sister, who are much older, both have adult children of their own. Bonnie’s nieces include a teacher and a lawyer. Her younger nephew has special needs. Her older nephew, who is also her godson, is an incredible tap dancer in Boston. We have loved watching them all grow up.
Our family support is amazing. From Heather’s amazingly selfless and kind parents to our siblings, nieces, nephews, large extended family, and many loving friends, your child would be surrounded by so much love. Alex has been the center of attention at family get-togethers, and we know your child will be too.
Our Adoption Story
Adoption has always been the way we wanted to grow our family, both individually and as a couple. One of Bonnie’s best friends was adopted, and friends of ours adopted their two boys, with very happy outcomes. Adoption was also a choice we knew we would make only after we found the right person to share the experience with. We met later in life and have experienced enough life to know when it was the right time. We met our son, Alex, through the adoption process and couldn’t be more in love.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
