Dear Birthmom

The words “thank you” seem much too simple to express the depths of our gratitude to you. We cannot image the feelings you have or will experience throughout this process. Even though we have not had the opportunity to get to know you yet, we have a great amount of respect and admiration for you. Adoption is the ultimate act of profound love and selflessness. The strength you have shown in coming to this difficult decision is something that you should feel proud of and your child will be lucky to be blessed with this amazing strength as well. You can rest assured your child will always know your decision was made out of love. They will be welcomed into a home that believes family comes first. They will have two loving and protective older brothers. They will spend countless hours getting to know their grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. And, of course, they will be loved unconditionally by their adoptive parents and given countless opportunities to succeed and enjoy life.

About Us

Allow us to introduce ourselves; we are Heath and Kami. We started our relationship in 2002. Neither of us were looking for anything serious at the time, so it probably does not surprise you that 15 years later we are still together and very happily married.

Heath is a Service Manager for a diesel shop, where he works on semis and oversees the daily operation of the shop. Kami is the Lead Ad Mixture Tech at a cancer institute, where she mixes chemotherapy drugs for cancer patients. She absolutely loves her work despite how hard it can be at times.

We both love sports, theater and dance, and enjoy camping in our camper trailer. We have season tickets to a local ECHL hockey team, and attend several baseball games, an occasional football or basketball game, and play golf. Individually, Kami loves doing crafts and Heath enjoys assembling model cars, airplanes, and trains.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a two-story home, built in 1980, and located on a fairly secluded road, with just one neighbor, a very friendly elderly couple. Our house has four bedrooms, three baths, a family room, living room, and full basement. We have a very large yard and an incredible view! The front of our house overlooks the bay, while the back of our house has an amazing view of the mountains. It feels nice and private, though we do have a couple of small neighborhoods within walking distance. We have two small dogs that are both ten years old and very spoiled. They were named in honor of Heath’s grandparents, Norman and Thelma.

Our Extended Family

Heath comes from a family of five, which includes his mother, brother, and two sisters. Heath is the youngest! He is very close to his brother and growing up, the two were practically inseparable. While growing up, he was also extremely close with his grandfather, who took on a fatherly role. They do not live as close as Kami’s family, but we do try to see them at least once a year.

Kami comes from a family of seven, which includes her mother, father, three sisters, and one brother. Kami is the second oldest. Kami’s entire family still lives within twenty minutes of each other, except for her brother, who is just 2 hours away. We see them all on a regular basis, getting together for holidays or family outings. Some of our favorites are themed parties, such as glow stick dance night, a lumberjack birthday party, and Cinco de Mayo.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have 2 grown sons from a previous relationship of Heaths’. Kami was their primary mother throughout most of their lives, however, she did not have the opportunity to raise them from birth and cannot have children biologically. Although they no longer live with us, both boys remain a huge part of our lives. We are hoping to adopt to add to our family and give us the chance to raise another child together. We have considered adoption for several years now and are both excited to finally be getting started.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
