We are so thankful for this opportunity to walk down this road with you. We know that it takes a selfless act to consider adoption. We cannot imagine the roller coaster of emotions you must be experiencing as you go through this journey. A decision like this, where you put your baby before yourself, takes immense strength, courage, and love. We will never have enough words to thank you and show you our appreciation should you choose to entrust your baby to us.
Know that your baby will always be loved and cherished if you choose us. Having already been through the adoption process once, we have experienced the joy of adoption. Our daughter was adopted as a baby and has been surrounded by love since day one. Our families filled the role of aunts/uncles and grandparents so beautifully as soon as she entered our home, and I know they will do the same with this baby. They will have a childhood filled with laughter, joy, and adventure.
We wish you all the best on your journey and want you to know you are loved. Should you choose us to raise your baby, we would be forever honored and grateful. We would make it our life's mission to raise this child in a way that would make you proud and appreciative of this decision.

Our Family & Friends
We are both very close to our extended family and have the privilege of having everyone in the same city. Carl's family consists of his mom, dad, and brother. His brother has special needs, which has allowed us to be more understanding and patient. We love watching sports with them and having family dinners.
Liane's family is also in town and consists of her parents and her sister and brother-in-law. We love going on family vacations with them. Our biggest hobby together is playing board games, such as Settlers of Catan and Dominion. Her sister and brother-in-law live a mile from us and have been the best aunt and uncle to our daughter. Her extended family lives all over the world, which has sparked our interest in traveling.
Since both our families live close by, we often see one of them every other weekend. Our biggest family tradition is bringing both sides of the family together for Thanksgiving lunch or Christmas dinner.
Adoption in Our Lives
We always knew we wanted to grow our family through adoption. We have already opened our hearts to adoption as our daughter was adopted. She is loved and cherished by everyone in our family. We are entering this journey again as we want her to have a sibling that she can play and grow up with. We chose the adoption route so she can have a sibling with whom she can share a special common bond as they grow up together.
We know that adoption is a wonderful and beautiful process as we have experienced it firsthand. We have an open adoption with our daughter's birth mom, and it has been a great experience. She lives in the same state as us, so we are able to see her multiple times during the year and share our daughter's life with her. Our daughter has been embraced as our own by all our families and friends, and we know that everyone will have the same feelings towards a new baby.
