|Family Type:||Heterosexual Couple|
dear expectant mother
Adoption is a gracious gift, but we understand this journey is anything but easy. We hold tremendous thoughtfulness and respect around the process of adoption. We have compassion for you in your pursuit of seeking a wonderful life for your child. We especially hold immense gratitude in our hearts and are humbled by the opportunity to share our love, our home, and the best of who we are with your child.
The blend of emotions involved may be challenging, but we believe in truth and transparency to forge a bond beyond measure. It is so important for the child we adopt to know their family background and heritage. Knowing our heritage and culture builds a sense of pride and confidence. We plan to teach the child to speak Jay’s native language/culture. We hope to raise the child with nature, animals and music. Our greatest wish and greatest passion in life is to provide an environment for every member of our family to excel beyond their wildest dreams.
We respect and admire your courage through the adoption process and are ready to join you and bolster you in this transformative, collaborative journey. We are eager to meet you and form a meaningful connection at any level you feel comfortable. We are grateful for you taking the time to view our profile. We truly hope we can potentially be a match and join you in this journey. Warmest wishes to you.
With open hearts,
Greta & Jay
We are a fun-loving, adventurous, and passionate couple. Every day throughout our six years of marriage, we have cherished being silly, somewhat sarcastic and laughing together. Greta loves to learn; she dives into new endeavors, or a raspberry scone. She is a deeply empathetic, altruistic, and a wonderful listener. Greta is a professional arbiter that assists people to resolve disputes and recover from weather catastrophes. Greta loves hanging out with friends & family (especially her niece & nephew), yoga, hiking, biking, crafting, camping, playing board games. Jay has a heart of gold. He is compassionate and always looking out for others. He is a senior insurance consultant that resolves complex commercial claims. Jay is intelligent, quick-witted, silly, and open minded. He has a great sense of humor and loves to have fun and make everyone laugh. Jay loves being goofy, playing music, cooking, being a soccer fanatic, and reading.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a highly desirable, growing city filled with culture, entertainment, and outdoor activities. There is a wide variety of family activities in our lives. Our cheerful brick bungalow is in a quiet, charming historic district that is family friendly and walkable to parks, playgrounds, boutique retail stores, and restaurants. Our backyard is a botanical garden filled with vegetable beds, fruit trees, flowers and lounging areas. We share our home with two amazing dogs (actually, they share it with us!). They love hiking trails, swimming in the local lakes and creeks, playing frisbee and fetch, climbing playground equipment, and chasing squirrels and geese. They are best buds, exceptionally friendly and love children of all ages.
Our Extended Family
We have a tight knit family. Although Jay’s family resides out of state, he is in constant communication with them several times a week (speaking Portuguese). Jay grew up with a compassionate sister, and he goes out of his way to keep up with his two terrific nephews. Greta’s family lives within an hour, and she grew up with three amazing sisters.
Our family traditions are to celebrate birthdays, Easter, Halloween, Turkey Day, Christmas and 4th of July with family. There are several Portuguese traditions that Jay’s family celebrates. Our recent Thanksgiving tradition for the last three years is to venture to an outdoor activity in a place we’ve never been. We each have nephews and a niece who are close to the same age. We absolutely adore spending time with them and have a close bond. Our entire family, including our niece and nephews, are all beyond thrilled to know they will soon have a (human) cousin!
What Led Us To Adoption
After experiencing the heartache of three lost pregnancies, we realized life had other plans for us. Along the way, we gained a healthy perspective and a deep connection and admiration for one another. We always admired adoption and were encouraged by our family and our close friend Michelle to explore it. Michelle’s family is an inspiration as they have a beautiful daughter and treasure their open relationship with the birthmother. In addition, Jay's grandmother adopted several orphaned girls in her village in Portugal to provide a stable and loving home. So began our adoption journey; every day since then, we know we're on the right path.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
