dear expectant mother

We appreciate you taking the time to get to know us a little bit. We admire your strength in making this decision and recognize how much love you have for your child. Thank you for considering to include us in your life and to give us the privilege of raising your child. Adopting a child would be a dream come true. We believe love makes a family, and we have a lot of love to give.

If given the opportunity, we want you to know we will love your child with all of our hearts. We will protect them, build up their confidence, teach them acceptance and selflessness, nurture their interests, and give them every opportunity for success. They will be supported through their highs and their lows. We are surrounded by supportive family and friends waiting to shower them with love.

We are open to having a relationship with you and having you be a part of your child’s life in whatever way you wish. Your child will hear stories about their birth mother, her culture, and her traditions. We will always speak positively about you and share how much you love them and blessed us. We will forever cherish the gift you are giving us. Thank you again for considering us while making this courageous decision.

About Us

We met at a Halloween party during our freshman year of college and were married almost ten years later in 2017. Our relationship is built on trust, mutual respect, and open communication. We feed off each other’s humor and drive to help others. While we share many interests, we also support each other's individual passions. Grace is in a tap-dancing company, and Milan has a passion for producing music. We love to travel, go on adventures with friends, and attend live music and theater productions. While we enjoy socializing with friends and family, we also appreciate having movie nights at home with our two dogs. Grace works as an epidemiologist, and Milan is a special education music teacher. We are excited to grow our family through adoption.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a friendly and diverse family-oriented neighborhood in the heart of Maryland. We own our newly built three-bedroom home with a fenced-in yard. When the weather allows, you will find us spending time on our deck and playing in the yard with our two rescue dogs, Rusty and Emma. We have built a small vegetable garden that is watered through a rainwater collection system. We are looking forward to adding a playset to the yard. Right outside our front door, we can explore parks, nature trails, and a small downtown area of locally-owned shops and restaurants. Both the middle and high school are within walking distance, and we have a perfect hill for sledding in the winter as a family.

Our Extended Family

We both grew up in loving homes in the Midwest, where our parents still live. Milan is an only child. Grace is the youngest of four children, with two brothers and a sister. We have five nieces and nephews, with another on the way! We are very close with our families and chat regularly. Our parents live about an hour apart, so we are lucky that we can easily visit both sides of the family when we travel home.

Holidays are very special since extended family comes to our hometowns to celebrate together. Christmas Eve is spent with Milan’s family, including many of his cousins and their children. Christmas morning begins with breakfast and presents at the home of Grace’s sister, followed by dinner at her grandmother’s house. Grace’s grandmother values family and plans reunion vacations every other summer. There are now more than 50 family members included!

Our families are excited about our adoption plan. We have adopted cousins on both sides, so this is not a new experience. We could not ask for better support from our families.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption has always been our first choice for starting our family. Milan was adopted from Serbia when he was 15 months old and has always had a desire to show another child a loving home through adoption. Grace has also always felt a calling toward adoption. We believe love makes a family and not just genetics. We want to provide a loving home for a child, and we know adoption can be a beautiful journey for creating our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
