Dear Birthmom

Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to tell you about ourselves and our family. We are so in awe of the love you have for your unborn child that you are willing to consider us for your adoption plan. We are lucky to have a home filled with laughter, love, and many adventures, and we hope to fill it with yet more joy as we share it all with your child.

More than anything, we want you to know that if you choose us to parent your baby, he or she will be very loved and cared for. We are ready for parenting and know that it will be more rewarding than we can even imagine. We hope we’ll have a chance to talk with you or meet you. Thank you again for considering us.

God bless you always and forever.

About Us

We met in spring of 2003 and married in fall of 2009. We both work for Habitat for Humanity and when we aren’t working, love spending time with family and friends. Camping is our favorite pass time. There is nothing quite like having bonfires and watching the stars. In going through some old paperwork Lisa’s mom kept from her childhood, we found an essay she had written about how one day she was going to grow up and be “an awesome mom”. She was only in 4th grade. Gary also can’t wait to be a dad. He has such an amazing heart. He is that kind of guy who will give his shirt off his back for a complete stranger.

We have always believed in paying it forward. We love our friends’ kids like they are our own and are frequently called upon to babysit so our friends can have a date night. We also believe that it takes a village to raise a family and love being part of our friends’ support systems as we hope they will be part of ours. One day, we know God will place a child He wants us to have in our home and we will love the sound of the pitter patter of that child’s feet and the giggles we will hear going up and down the hallway.

Our Home & Pets

We do a lot of things around our home, which we bought in 2005. It is a ranch style house with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. We have amazing neighbors. We have 3 dogs, Lexus is our oldest 12, Mia is 2 and Daisy is 1.5. We also have a very large fish …his name is Lighting and he is a red belly pacus. We are animal lovers. Right down the road we have amazing playground where lots of neighborhood children play. Our local church is a block from there. There are a lot of community gatherings in the summer. It’s always fun to talk and catch up with some friends and neighbors who travel a lot.

Our Extended Family

Our families are very close. Lisa has one sister and 4 step siblings. Her parents divorced when she was 16 but it was for the best. They now get along great and have been married to their new spouses for well over 15 years. Lisa’s stepmother, Jodi, has a daughter and son and is happily now a grandma to an amazing little girl, Emma. She is so cute. Lisa’s stepdad has 2 daughters and his oldest as well just gave birth to her 2nd child. Gary has 3 brothers and his parents are still together, for over 50+ years now, which we find so amazing. His brothers have 1 son each. We love that our future child will have so many cousins to play with and loving aunts, uncles and grandparents to welcome them to the family. It’s fun working together to see whose family we are stopping at first for holidays because we want to see everyone. We always work it out no matter what! Family is everything to us.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have been through a lengthy and heartbreaking struggle with fertility treatments and miscarriages. The loss of our children was extremely hard on us, but after all of our attempts and heartaches, we have always tried to remain positive about the future and keep looking forward. We dream of one day raising our baby and forming wonderful memories during our child’s lifetime.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
