Dear Birthmom

Thank you for taking the time to look at our profile and possibly consider us as a choice to adopt your baby. We are just two people with a strong desire to have a child to love and raise. We can only imagine what you're thinking or how you're feeling, but know that we have a lot of love to give and a lot of support behind us. Laura comes from a big family, Frank's family is very devoted to each other, and all of us together would gladly welcome someone new! There's no shortage of people who can show love, provide advice, and give hand-me-downs that have been in the family for years.

We welcome the chance to learn more about you and hope that we get to meet you soon.

About Us

Frank and Laura met in 2007 while we both worked at Best Buy. Laura had to ask Frank on a date because he did not pick up on her heavy flirting. It was December 1st and it was the worst snowstorm that season, but Frank still drove 45 minutes to see Laura. It turned out well because we got married in June 2010 and have been inseparable ever since. Neither of us still work at Best Buy – Frank works in Inside Sales and Laura works in Human Resources, specifically in recruiting. Laura spends a lot of time writing novels, volunteers as an advisor for her sorority at a local college and teaches Sunday school. Frank's life has revolved around movies and music since he was a kid; he majored in Film Studies in school, has been on the film festival screening committee, and can talk for literally hours about music. His latest obsession is New Japan Pro Wrestling. Together we like to go out to dinner (we love food!), watch football, play video games, and travel often to Florida where Laura grew up.

Our Home & Pets

We bought our home in 2014. It's a three bedroom ranch in the suburbs of Wisconsin – our town is almost exclusively residential so there is no shortage of neighbors, town festivals, and newly renovated schools. We live very close to a park with hiking trails, tennis courts, and a playground where we play tennis and Frank often walks the dogs when it's nice outside. Our house has a large front yard on a quiet street and a fenced-in backyard where our dogs, Taco and Crackers, love to chase each other, chew on sticks, and bark at falling leaves. Taco is 6 years old and Crackers is 4 years old. They are both Shih Tzus so they are very small, but they are very friendly and energetic.

Our Extended Family

Laura has three sisters and a brother and thirteen nieces and nephews. Her mother and step-father live about ten minutes away and are both retired, so they visit frequently. We play tennis with them at the park down the street. Laura's father lives about two hours away. We go to hockey games and talk about college football, since Laura and her father went to the same college. Laura's siblings all live within two hours and we see them for holidays. It's always a big event whenever Laura's family gets together! Frank's family is a little smaller – his parents and younger brother live about a half hour away. Frank's mother often comes over when Frank and Laura are at work to take the dogs on walks. We go out to dinner or play board games with Frank's family.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have wanted to have children since we got married in 2010. Laura comes from a large family and works with children when she teaches Sunday school, so we naturally wanted to have a family right away. Unfortunately, that wasn't so easy for us. We were told we would not be able to have any biological children. It was very difficult for us to face the reality that we would not have children. After discussing our options, we felt adoption is the way for us to grow our family. More than anything we want to be parents, whether it be biological or through adoption. We are so excited and looking forward to sharing our love and home with a baby.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
