dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to read through our profile and to learn a bit about us. Your selflessness in considering an adoption plan is truly admirable. Your bravery and courage are things we will tell your child about and qualities we hope they inherit from you. We believe you are truly the angel in this process. We want you to know we pray for you and for your baby, and we also pray that God will lead us to one another at the perfect time. We trust with our whole hearts He will do just that.

We hope we gave you a good idea of how much we would love and care for your baby and how much our families and friends would love and care for your baby too. We can’t wait to tell your child about where they came from and about our adoption journey as well as yours. It is so truly humbling to know you could be the person who answers our prayers and provides us with the missing piece of our family we have so longed for over the last few years. We hope you will give us that chance.

About Us

We are Ross and Erin! We met via social media seven years ago. We are very fortunate to both be pursuing careers we love. Erin is a social work clinical manager, and she oversees a program that houses military veterans experiencing homelessness. Ross is an IT/data analyst, and he is a whiz at surveying market trends and solving tech issues. We are obviously biased, but we think we are a pretty fun couple, and our friends and family would agree. We regularly break into random song and dance, and our house is always filled with lots of laughs and positivity. We are truly each other’s best friend. Ross loves to golf, and Erin is a big fan of yoga and the outdoors. Together we enjoy volunteering regularly for a local Habitat for Humanity chapter. We are so excited to embark upon this journey to grow our family.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a wonderful Illinois suburb in a brick colonial, three-bedroom, two-bath home. Our neighborhood is picturesque, with many parks and play areas for kids. We have a quaint downtown area that is just a 10-minute walk from our house, and when the weather is nice, we walk there on Sundays after church and always stop at the bookstore. We live across the street from a large, open field and enjoy watching the neighborhood kids play as well as all the neighborhood pups! We have a dog named Hank and a cat named Shadoobie, whom we love dearly. Every year, our town has a pet parade, and we can’t wait to take our new baby there one day. We also have many friends and family nearby as we live in the town Erin grew up in.

Our Extended Family

We have quite a large extended family! Erin has three siblings on her side, and Ross has five siblings, three nieces, and one nephew on his side. We are so fortunate that most of our family lives close by, and we get to see them all the time!

We love getting together with family to celebrate birthdays and holidays or just having a random Tuesday night dinner together. Erin’s father lives on a lake, and during the summertime, we enjoy spending leisurely sunny days on the boat. We have many family traditions, like running the Shamrock Shuffle in Chicago every year and going to Disney with our nieces and nephew every few years.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption has been something that has always been on our hearts. After several miscarriages, we learned Erin would not be able to carry a baby. We were ultimately led back to the strong pull we had always had toward adoption. We are both strongly rooted in our faith and felt called by God to embark upon this process. Both of us have family members who were adopted (Erin’s first cousin and two of Ross’s second cousins), so our families were super familiar with the process and so very supportive from the start. We also have some great friends who were adopted, and they have been a support for us as well.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
