dear expectant mother
We’re so excited you are taking the time to read about our family. We are truly grateful that you have the strength and courage to consider creating an adoption plan. We admire your selflessness and want you to know that we are honored to be considered as your child’s future family!
We know you are making one of the most difficult decisions of your life, and hopefully we can provide some comfort by describing who we are as a family and how we envision parenting your child. We believe in supporting each other’s dreams, valuing uniqueness, and creating an environment that encourages exploration of varied interests. We want to welcome your child into our loving, supportive family, and we will strive to provide as many opportunities as possible while we raise your child with unconditional love, encouragement, honesty, creativity, and a sense of adventure. We are also open to whatever type of relationship you are most comfortable having with us and want you to know that no matter what you choose, we will ensure your child knows how your love provided this opportunity to create a family of people to adore your child.
During our journey, we’ve adopted the phrase “no rain, no flowers” to tell our story. We’ve endured our share of rain that has led us down a path to you, and we hope as our paths cross, we can build a relationship that will blossom into beautiful flowers!
We met at work over eight years ago and instantly connected. Luke is hardworking, honest, and the most reliable friend anyone could ask for. Erin is artistic, adventurous, and always in the mood for cake! Together, we’re a down-to-earth couple that enjoys spending time with family and finding pleasure in the little things, like hiking with our dogs or cooking dinner at home. We both enjoy staying busy, so in addition to working our day jobs, you can usually find Luke working on a house project or spending time outdoors with the dogs and Erin painting or practicing yoga. When we get the chance to venture away from home, we enjoy visiting national parks or the beach. We can’t wait to share these simple pleasures with our growing family!
Our Home & Pets
We are in the heart of Kentucky, known as the friendliest state. We have a three-story home with three bedrooms, three full baths, and a cozy main floor living space located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. We have a large back yard that backs up to the woods. We also enjoy spending time on our 16-acre farm nearby, where we have plenty of room to hike and spend time outdoors. Our two sweet dogs, Zeus and Luna, can be found either playing in the back yard or cuddling up with us on the couch. Like Erin, they also keep an eye out for delicious treats!ended
Our Extended Family
We are so lucky to have a large, supportive family all close by, with most just down the street and a few only a 40-minute drive away. Family is so important to us, and we truly value celebrating birthdays, holidays, and major events together in addition to stopping by just to catch up.
Erin spent her childhood moving yearly, living in many states from coast to coast. Her family settled in Kentucky twenty years ago and knew they had found somewhere special. Her mother owns a horse farm just 40 minutes away, and her sister lives 30 minutes away with her husband and two babies. We love spending time with Erin’s family, especially our sweet nephews!
Luke was born and raised in the same town we live in today. His entire family also lives here, and we get to spend time with them regularly. It’s amazing to have so many cousins close to our ages, many who have young kids. Luke’s nephew has two young boys, who are our god-babies, and his cousin just had her first baby, who is our goddaughter. Our families get along well, and we’re so lucky to have so much love and support.
What Led Us To Adoption
A couple years after we got married, Erin ended up needing urgent abdominal surgery and when she woke up, her doctor broke the difficult news that she would likely not be able to conceive a child. We have multiple people in our life who have adopted and we decided that this was a sign our family was meant to grow through adoption. We couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity to start our family through adoption and hopefully be able to also form a bond with our birth family!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
