dear expectant mother
We are so excited you’re reading our profile. We hope you are feeling well. Growing a baby is not easy, and we are so thankful for the hard work you are doing! We know you are facing a difficult decision, and we are grateful you’re considering adoption for your baby.
Though we do not know you or your baby, we can’t help but feel that adoption is part of the plan for our family’s story, which means you and your baby may be a part of our story too. Your baby, should you choose us, will be so loved, supported, and provided for, no matter who they grow up to be. They will grow up in a home with three other siblings to show them the ropes, two parents who will always be there to listen and encourage, and many other loved ones who can’t wait to cheer your baby on.
Until then, we are here cheering you on. You are strong and selfless for carrying this baby and for considering adoption. We hope something about us connects with you and your hopes for your baby’s future. We pray your pregnancy continues smoothly, and thank you again for taking the time to read about our family.
With gratitude,
Erin and Ian

About Us
Ian works in marketing and loves technology. Erin works from home in human resources. Ian enjoys writing, playing guitar, and collecting comic books, while Erin likes to bake and take the kids to the beach. We are both avid readers, and we’re also having fun making renovations to our historical home. We really enjoy the community in which we live and like to be involved in the local goings-on. Erin is an extroverted planner who likes to stay busy, and Ian balances that out with his easygoing, gentle, and creative personality.
Our Home
Ian’s family has roots in our town going back over one hundred years. It’s a beautiful community with lots of local activities. We enjoy swimming at either of the two lakes, walking through the historic downtown, shopping at the farmers markets, and attending seasonal festivals. The area is known for their great schools and parks. Ian is on the local city council. Our family has a historic home with a big backyard, swingset, small vegetable garden, and long, straight driveway that is great to learn to ride a bike on. We attend our local church and enjoy giving back and getting involved in our community.
Our Extended Family
Ian’s family is big and semi-local. Ian has three siblings, six local cousins, and a smattering of aunts, uncles, second cousins, and more who we bump into wherever we go. Ian, his dad, his brother, and his grandfather go golfing together every July when Ian’s dad comes to visit from out of state. Ian’s mom and stepfather live nearby, and we get to visit them regularly.
Erin’s extended family is made up of her parents, who live nearby; her sister, who just graduated from college; and her grandma, who also lives nearby. Our kids enjoy seeing their grandparents regularly, and we enjoy the opportunity to travel together when we can. Erin has several aunts, uncles, and cousins spread out across the country as well.
We love traditions, and we value keeping them for our family. Every Fourth of July, we invite our local family (and those visiting from out of state) to a spot we stake out for the local parade. We also love baking Christmas cookies and planning our annual Easter egg hunt. We are always looking for a reason to celebrate and get our family and friends together.
What Led Us To Adoption
We started discussing adoption when Erin returned from a mission trip. We were only just dating, but the conversation started. By the time we were married, we knew adoption would likely be a part of our family’s story. It’s something we have had on our hearts for over a decade, and we’re so excited to finally be starting the process. We have three biological children: a daughter who is nine and two sons, six and four. The kids are so excited to add a baby they can teach, play with, and dote upon. We’ve always held a special place in our hearts for a future adopted child, and we feel so blessed to be able to add to our family in this way.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
