We feel so overwhelmed with emotions right now; joy, love, nervousness, uncertainty, fear, happiness, enjoyment. We have been talking about having children for so long and are so grateful for this opportunity to make our dreams come true. Even though we don’t know you or your baby yet, we love you both so very much.
You are absolutely amazing, brave, and courageous. We will never be able to express how much we appreciate being considered as adoptive parents for your child. There are so many people in our lives praying for both you and your baby; praying for your health, strength, and wisdom. Should you choose us as parents for your baby, we already have so many plans for them. There is a park near our house that has large numbers of geese and ducks in the summer. We can imagine a little one running to try catching one and throwing pieces of bread in the pond, hoping to feed them. We even have plans to travel to Germany for Christmas as a family.
We want you to feel comfortable with us and know in your heart how much we would love and cherish your precious child every moment of our lives. Please know your baby would always know your story and how much love you have for them. Thank you for being the answer to our prayers and giving us the chance to grow our family through adoption.
We were married on a hot, beautiful day in August 2014. Cheyenne is so full of life! She loves quilting, reading, playing with her siblings, and loving on the kids at church. According to Erik, she is one of the best cooks in the world! Erik is the smartest man Cheyenne has ever met. He enjoys reading, working out, and meeting with trusted mentors. He also loves running, spending time with family and friends, card games, sports, music, and planning dates nights with Cheyenne. Together, we love to get involved in our church and lead a Lifegroup for newly married and engaged couples. We also enjoy hiking, fishing, going to sporting events and travelling to new places.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a beautiful, safe, and quiet part of town in a kid-friendly neighborhood. Our home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and is decorated with pictures and mementos from our travels together. Nearby, there are libraries, restaurants, huge rivers to go kayaking and canoeing, and parks with gorgeous trails nestled in the rolling hills. We have a small dog, Julie, who is a Corgi/Beagle mix and full of energy and love. We enjoy taking her on walks in and around the neighborhood and through parks.
Our Extended Family
Cheyenne has a spontaneous and fun-loving family with two amazing parents, six sisters, and one brother. We enjoy playing football and soccer in the yard with the kids, watching Cheyenne’s younger brother play baseball, going to theme parks, and having family dinners together. Erik has two wonderful parents who own their own business, an older brother and sister, and a younger brother. Our time with the Erik’s family is spent cooking, at truck and tractor pulls ,and celebrating special occasions. Between the two families, we are lucky to have three nieces and a nephew!
What Led Us To Adoption
Cheyenne has three sisters who were adopted, which made the decision to adopt so easy and special. From the moment Cheyenne’s parents brought the girls home, they were members of the family, the missing puzzle pieces. When asked which of their kids were adopted, Cheyenne’s parents are fond of saying, “I don’t remember;” they are all their cherished kids! Cheyenne’s mom feels so thankful to the woman who made the ultimate sacrifice and allowed her to raise these incredible young ladies. Erik has always had adoption in his heart and when he met Cheyenne’s family, he was convinced adoption was in his future. After trying to conceive for three years and seeking guidance and wisdom from the Lord, we believe now is the time and adoption is the answer to our prayer.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
