dear expectant mother

It has been our dream to become parents for a long time, and if you chose us, your child will know from day one about how courageous and loving your decision was and how grateful we are to you for making our dreams come true. We look forward to nurturing your child’s hopes and dreams and providing a loving and stable source of support. We look forward to enjoying all that New England has to offer as a family, from fall apple picking and hayrides to winter skiing and summers at the beach. We have two close-knit families that can’t wait to welcome your child.

We’re strong believers in the transformative power of education, and we believe learning comes from experiences as much as as it comes from the classroom. Your child will be encouraged to explore any and all activities that interest him or her and will be raised with love, honesty, creativity, and encouragement.

We’re open to whatever relationship you would like to have with us and your child. Your child will grow up in a home that honors and celebrates you. We are blessed that you’re interested in learning more about us, and we pray you find strength and serenity throughout this time. We thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for considering our family.

About Us

We’re Rob and Emily. We met completely by chance six years ago, got engaged three months later, and married the following year. Emily works at a large healthcare company, having a great sense of humor and a knack for instantly putting people at ease. Rob is a proud Army Veteran who currently works in finance. He is extremely loyal and puts a lot of energy into keeping in close contact with his friends and family. We’re best friends, and we both love to be active: we work out together, play golf, and ski. We also love to hike and go on long walks, and we love to cook everything from comfort food to baking fancy desserts. Emily plans the meals for the week, and Rob likes to try to grill as often as possible, no matter the weather!

Our Home & Pets

We live in a traditional colonial-style home, with four bedrooms and a huge yard in a picturesque New England town. Our house is on a quiet cul-de-sac and backs up to a nature preserve with lots of hiking trails. There are a ton of kids in the neighborhood, and we’re very close with several of our neighbors. Education is very important to us, and we’re fortunate to live in a town with great schools. We also belong to a private club five minutes from our home, where nearly every member is a family with young children. The club has a huge pool and offers fun family activities throughout the year, including a Fourth of July barbecue and an annual Halloween party.

Our Extended Family

Emily’s family all live within a short drive. She has a younger sister, who is married with two children. Emily’s parents are healthy and active and visit frequently. Emily also has a large extended family spread out throughout the country, with whom we also stay in close contact and visit frequently.

Rob and his mom text, call, or email nearly every single day. She is retired and visits multiple times a year. Rob has an older brother, who is married and has a seven-year-old; they live nearby, so we see them as often as we can. Rob also has an older sister who is married and is a doting aunt.

Our family means absolutely everything to us, and their love and encouragement is what made us who we are today. We make a point to spend quality time with them throughout the year and are frequently the hosts for most celebrations and holidays. We love to go “all out,” with multi-course home-cooked meals and decorations. All of our parents can’t wait to have more grandkids, and all of the cousins are very excited to have a new playmate.

What Led Us To Adoption

We started trying to have kids right after we got married, but after three and half years we went through many rounds of fertility treatments with no success. Although this was a lengthy and heartbreaking process, after the last round of treatment, we both readily agreed that our journey to parenthood does not involve our own pregnancy. We talked about all of the available options, and we both strongly felt the best path for our dream of becoming a family is adoption. It’s hard to describe, but as soon as we made the decision to pursue this path, it felt like this was what God intended all along.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
