dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Thank you for considering us to parent your child. Although we haven’t met yet, we’re already overflowing with gratitude and respect for the brave decision you’re about to make. We hope you see the love we have for our family and friends. Ultimately, we are praying you feel supported and at peace with the decision you choose for your baby.

As a mother, we understand that in considering adoption, you are making difficult decisions for not only your baby but for yourself and your future. We can only be entirely grateful to and supportive of a person in your position. We are thankful for the opportunities you wish to provide your baby, for the difficult choices you are willing to make, and for the sacrifices you have already made to get where you are today.

If you choose us, we hope you can take comfort in knowing your child will grow up in a home full of love, laughter, understanding, and patience. Our three children really are each other’s best friends and playmates, and they can’t wait to play with their new sibling.

You would be giving us the most incredible gift, and we will be forever grateful. We wish you peace and clarity while on this journey.

Love,
Adam & Elizabeth

About Us

We are Adam and Elizabeth. Adam has worked for a trading firm for 16 years. He is hardworking and loves others deeply and completely. Elizabeth has been a stay-at-home mother for the past eleven years. She loves doing anything with her family, which includes reading books aloud, doing crafts, baking, and traveling. She’s always desired to have a large family. We met sixteen years ago while working together at a pizza restaurant during college. After our careers took us to Chicago, we made our home outside the city. We have three children, ages ten, eight, and four. During our free time as a family, we love to bike the city, adventure to new restaurants, be outside as much as possible, and spend lots of quality time with our children and our friends and family.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a close-knit community where the neighbors are more like family. Our home is in the historic district and has four bedrooms, a large playroom, and a fenced yard. We love walking and biking downtown, enjoying the riverfront park and farmer’s market in the warmer months. Most weekends in the summer you’ll find us hosting families from church or our neighborhood for cookouts. We enjoy walking to the pool up the street and taking advantage of the many forest preserves in the community. We adopted our dog, Cooper, four years ago when he was a puppy. We enjoy daily walks through our neighborhood or at the river path. He is very gentle and loves snuggling with our children.

Our Extended Family

We are very fortunate to have a great relationship with both sides of our families. We live very near Elizabeth’s mom and sister and her family. We are happy to have cousins nearby who have become close friends to our children. We enjoy gathering together to celebrate birthdays, Christmas, and Thanksgiving. Family trips to Elizabeth’s dad’s summer lake house and winter ocean condo are also highlights of our year. Swimming, boating, and fishing are our favorite activities.

Adam’s family is located in northern Michigan, and we enjoy taking trips to a more rural part of the country. It is an outdoor adventure when we visit! Adam’s parents enjoy visiting often, and you can find Adam and his father working side by side on house projects on our 130-year-old home.

What Led Us To Adoption

We love being parents and get so excited when we think about another child in our lives. Many friends and family members have adopted children or were adopted themselves, so we are surrounded by support and encouragement. Our three children are excited about loving and playing with a new sibling! We know it is part of our family's plan to grow through adoption, and we are so excited to bring another baby into our family to read to, love, and cherish!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
