dear expectant mother
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and for considering us as adoptive parents to love and raise your precious child. We are privileged that you would consider us as role models for your baby. We have six wonderful children who will love your child, if you choose us as adoptive parents. They aren’t with us all the time because of our blended family, so many times your child will be with just us. We have a solid family unit that will love and support your baby and will work to give him or her the opportunity to chase his or her dreams. We will encourage your child to reach his or her full potential and will provide the means and love that will enable him or her to attain it!
We are Doug and Kristen,
We have a wonderful blended family. Combined, we have six children. We have been best friends for nine years and married for three. As a blended family, we enjoy our fun-filled life together. All eight of us can’t wait to bring in a new family member to spoil and shower with all of our love.
We have a great work-life balance that allows us to attend ball games, concerts, church, and whatever activities our children are involved in. We both work for a major medical company in medical sales that helps patients with chronic pain.
We strive to make sure each of our children has his or her own identity and a special place in our home. We can’t wait to do the same for your child if you choose us as adoptive parents. We encourage and cheer on each child to invest and excel in whatever it is that they love.
Kristen’s hobbies include fashion, decorating, and anything that has to do with shopping. She would like to learn the art of sewing and incorporate that into her love of fashion. She also loves to clean and organize, which works great for our large family! Doug loves music as well as sports. He grew up playing music and traveling with his family. He currently has a recording studio in the house for writing and projects. He loves pro football, and college and professional basketball and baseball.
Our Home & Pets
We are blessed to have a large home in which each child has their own bedroom. We have a large kitchen and family table so that we can share stories and dinner together often. We live on 15 acres and have plenty of space for kids to run around and explore in the woods. We have a basketball goal and a fenced in pool for lots of fun in the summers. Inside we have a large playroom full of game tables, arcade games, and activities. We have a movie theater that we will often sit in as a family and watch movies or sporting events together. We have a dog (Russell), two cats, and some of the children have their own individual pet in their room (such as a hamster or bird).
Our Extended Family
Kristen has one sister who is married with two children. We are very close to her and her family. We attend church with them and see them regularly. Kristen’s parents live within 20 miles of us and also attends our church. We have family dinners most Sundays with them. Kristen has various aunts and uncles that are around during the holidays. Three of her grandparents live close by. We have multiple generations that see each other often. We have a strong family unit.
Doug’s mother and stepfather live around 20 minutes away as well, and regularly see our kids at activities and events. Doug has many aunts and uncles that we enjoy seeing during the holidays.
What Led Us To Adoption
We truly have a desire to adopt. Physically for us to have a baby is not an option, but we would like to complete our family with another child. We love our active and fun family life and can’t wait to welcome a new little one into it. Our whole family is very excited and supportive of our hope to adopt and your baby would be surrounded by lots of people who would love him or her.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
