dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
First of all, we want to express our gratitude and understanding during what has to be one of the most difficult decisions you have ever had to consider. It takes bravery and courage to be able to make this decision you believe to be the best for you and your baby. The choice you make will bring so much joy and happiness to a lucky family, and if you choose us, rest assured we will give the best life to the baby you bring into this world.
We feel very privileged to be allowed to express our desire to expand our family, and we want you to know your baby will be the center of our world and our lives. We want to be able to raise your child in a happy and safe home equipped with all the tools to become anything they want to be. Your child’s life will be full of celebration and daily reminders that their mother loves them more than they will ever know. We would encourage any interaction and communication you want between you and your child.
We have tried to have biological children, but due to infertility issues, we have been unsuccessful. By choosing us, you could help complete our family and allow us to fulfill our dream to raise a beautiful child in our home. We hope you will give us serious consideration, but please know that whatever choice you make, your bravery shows in this selfless choice.
Donnie and Kelly
We try to make the most of every day and what life gives us with laughter, smiles, encouragement, love, support, and communication. More importantly, we love to be around each other every chance we get as we thrive as a family unit. We have worked hard through our education journeys as we both have earned multiple degrees and are both working professionals doing what we love to do. Donnie served in the military, was a pediatric intensive care unit nurse, and now works as a realtor and owns a brokerage. Kelly was a general surgeon and now works as a radiologist. Our interests include cooking and enjoying foods from all over the world, traveling across the world, drives to anywhere with the top off the Jeep, concerts, trips to our beach house, playing board games, and spending time with family and friends.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is located in a quiet, professional, diverse neighborhood where everyone knows each other. Donnie serves on the homeowners’ association board to help improve and grow the community. The house is a two-story brick home, with five bedrooms and bathrooms, a finished basement with a theater and exercise room, and an outdoor firepit and pool. Our home is also in the state’s top school district and near a major university and large hospital system. There are plenty of outdoor activities in our area, such as golf, hiking, skiing, boating, and national and state parks. We currently have saltwater fish as pets: Ken, Nancy, and Sophia.
Our Extended Family
We both enjoy spending time with family, and we have a priority to have a “family first” mentality. Donnie has three brothers and two sisters, with eight nieces and seven nephews and a baby niece due to arrive soon. Donnie has a son, Quintin, from a previous marriage, who is a freshman in college studying business and psychology. Family Thanksgiving is the holiday where everyone gets together to enjoy great food, fun, games, and quality time together. There can be 70+ attendees with extended family. Reunions are scheduled every few years for the opportunity to bring family together even more. We also strive to plan family vacations to see and experience new things together with our family members.
Kelly has a younger sister and brother who live in California. Her sister has two girls and a boy, all under six years old. On Kelly’s side of the family, the gatherings are more centered around Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Chinese New Year. The time spent together is focused on making traditional foods like wontons and dumplings, attending piano recitals, playing games, and building memories together. Christmas holidays are filled with baking cookies and cakes and sharing food, fun, and recipes with our family and friends.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always loved having children in our lives, and we always try to go to the special events and accomplishments of our many nieces and nephews. When attempting to start a family of our own, we had some difficulties. We tried fertility treatments for over a year and a half without success, but we still hope to be able to have children to love, raise, and create memories with. We have seen the joy an adoptive child can bring to a family and hope we can find the same joy in the process ourselves. We can’t wait to find the missing piece of our family and to become parents.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
