dear expectant mother
We would first like to thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your baby. We know this must be a very difficult time in your life, and we want you to know we have a great respect for this selfless decision.
Our goals as parents are to teach our children to be independent, loving, compassionate, and to accept others and their differences. We wish for our children to enjoy lives full of happiness and free from worry. We will provide our children with a stable home environment and with opportunities that we did not have growing up. We will teach our children the value of hard work, to appreciate what they have, and to share with others less fortunate. We hope our children will go to college someday. If they do, we will have funds in place to help them follow their dreams. If our children decide to pursue other goals, we just wish for them to find passion, joy, and pride in what they do. We want our children to always feel loved and supported, no matter what happens.
We are so thankful that you are strong enough to consider this option for your baby. Please know that your baby will grow up in a loving and caring home, with two parents who love each other so very much and a very eager big brother! We cannot wait to share all this love with a baby. We thank you for this opportunity to share our lives with you.
We are Dionne and Drew, and we have been happily married for 17 years. We first met just after high school, and together we worked to support each other through college. Now, Dionne is a veterinarian, and Drew is an attorney who works as a contracts manager. It has been a very long road and we cannot believe how much we have accomplished through each other’s love and support. We are soul mates and equal partners in every decision we make. We both work full-time and share household duties. Luckily, our schedule is very flexible and allows us to prioritize our family. We love to play music, go to baseball games, hike, and travel. Our favorite destinations are Japan and Disney. We cannot wait to build more memories together as a family!
Our Home & Pets
We live in a two-story, four-bedroom home in the mountains, surrounded by trees and with a little stream across the street where our son loves to play. We often walk our dogs through our neighborhood and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. One of the reasons we moved to this area was due to the wonderful school district. Our son’s elementary school is just a few minutes away and is adjacent to one of our favorite local parks. Our favorite parts of the park are the playground area, which has a water play pad, and a walking trail that follows a stream. We enjoy our quiet little town, but we also enjoy frequent trips to New York and Philadelphia, which we think gives us the best of both worlds.
Our Extended Family
We have a very warm and affectionate family that has so much love to give. Our son is the only grandchild right now, so our parents are very excited that we are moving forward with another adoption!
Our family is very large, but remains close. Dionne has one sister who is in her twenties, and Drew has three brothers, with the two youngest being teenagers. Dionne has several professional musicians in her family, so we see them often when they are on tour in our area. We also enjoy family vacations to the beach and Disney. Holidays are very special in our family, too, especially Christmas! We can’t wait to share these special days with your child.
Our Adoption Story
There has never been a question of whether we wanted children, only how many! We had always planned on using adoption to help build our family, but did not anticipate having problems with fertility. We adopted our son in 2009, and we had two foster children from 2013-2015. Our son was an amazing big brother and was absolutely devastated when they left our home. He has not stopped asking for a brother or sister since that time. Our home is full of love, yet it seems empty at times, as our family is still incomplete.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
