dear expectant mother
No words can express our feelings at this moment. This decision you are faced with and the circumstances that led you here are unlike anything we can envision. It takes an extremely brave and selfless person to put your child’s needs ahead of your own. For this, we are immensely honored and humbled you have taken the time to read our profile. We have wanted nothing more than to grow our family. We have both worked very hard to become financially stable and recently built our new home for the very purpose of filling it with children.
Choosing us to raise your baby would be the most generous gift of our lives. We promise to work even harder to be great parents and to always put your child first. Your child will forever have our unwavering love and support. We will guide your child to follow their dreams and encourage them to experience life to its fullest. We will share our love of music, dance, family, faith, and tradition.
We respect and honor whichever type of adoption you decide to choose. We promise to help them understand who they are, where they came from, and the abundant love it takes to make such a noble decision. You are taking a huge leap of faith in this adoption process. We know you will do what is best for your baby and for yourself. We pray that you find peace with your decision. Thank you for being so courageous.

About Us
We were introduced in 2009 by a mutual friend. At first Dimitra was resistant, but Peter persisted until she couldn’t resist accepting a date. After the first date, Dimitra still wasn’t convinced, but Peter continued to pursue her. We became the best of friends and were married in 2012. Peter is a skilled violinist, plays golf, is a car enthusiast, and enjoys fishing and boating. He is kind, caring, and compassionate, and he loves to make everyone happy. Dimitra is a strong, supportive, and caring person who always puts everyone’s needs before her own. She is creative and quick-witted, and she enjoys audiobooks, playing guitar, and dancing. We both love to work on projects inside and outside of the house, especially the garden. We love to travel and experience new places, especially the beach. Our relationship is based on love, laughter, honesty, and respect for each other. We never tire of being together. We are an unstoppable team!
Our Home & Pets
We recently moved into a newly built four-bedroom home located in Maryland, with plenty of room for our family to grow. Our state has highly rated schools and universities and is home to world-renowned medical systems. Our dogs, Nelly and Luna, are great with kids and love to give endless hugs and kisses! Our favorite part of our home is the kitchen, where we love to prepare home-cooked meals. Situated on a corner lot, we have a large yard where your child will be able to play and chase the dogs. Our neighbors are very friendly, with young children or just starting families. We live close to several parks, playgrounds, streams, and beaches and will occasionally go on camping trips with our RV.
Our Extended Family
Both being Greek, we have a large and spirited family. Peter’s family lives a few minutes away, allowing us time to spend with our new nephew. Dimitra’s family also lives close by. Dimitra’s sister recently moved to Illinois with her husband, and her mother lives part of the year with us and part in Illinois. We have a great relationship with our immediate and extended families and occasionally travel to Greece to vacation and visit with family abroad.
Our most cherished holiday is Easter. On Palm Sunday, Peter’s family makes crosses out of palms, a unique tradition that Peter’s mother taught him as a young boy. On Easter Sunday, our house is filled with loved ones as we slow-roast a lamb on a large rotating spit. We cook, eat, sing, play music, and dance. It is the highlight of our year. On Thanksgiving, Dimitra’s mother makes her “famous” stuffing, and nobody can wait to devour the turkey when it comes out of the oven. On Christmas, we decorate the entire house with decorations and colorful lights; it’s our own little North Pole.
Our family continuously prays that we become parents through adoption. We are so eager to share our many traditions and the values we have learned from our parents.
What Led Us To Adoption
For ten years, we tried various methods to conceive, including IVF and surgical procedures. We did not consider adoption until one evening at a wedding while discussing our struggles with an acquaintance of ours. He and his wife also struggled. They ultimately chose to adopt and described how much of a blessing their child was to them. That conversation opened our minds and hearts to the wonderful possibility of having a child through adoption. We also have other family and friends who adopted, and their experiences were positively life changing. We truly believe this is God’s plan for us. We are both excited and hopeful to grow our family and to provide infinite happiness and joy to a child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
