dear expectant mother
Everyone’s story is different, and we don’t mean to assume that we understand what you’re going through other than it is certainly emotional and probably difficult. We’re caring, decent people, and we’ll do our best as parents, if you give us the chance.
We will make sure your baby always has everything we can give them: unconditional love, a safe and stable home, emotional and financial support, and a good education. Our priority will always be to provide them with a loving home, and to help them while they grow and choose their path in life.
We have you and your baby in our blessings and prayers. Know that, whatever happens, you are so brave for your consideration. We thank you, and we wish you all the best.
Robert is a Federal attorney working mostly in disaster relief, helping to rebuild communities after major disasters; he is also an Army Officer, currently in the Reserves. Devon is currently in graduate school studying occupational therapy, a discipline that helps people live better lives by using activities that are important to that person. Before that, she was a veterinary nurse for many years. We met in college and have been married for fifteen years, now. As a couple, we value giving back to our communities and trying to do our best to make the world a better place. We are full of love for each other and our peers, and we love trying anything, as long as it’s together.
Our Home & Pets
We live in Southern California, in a nice, safe neighborhood near a large nature preserve that has lots of hiking and a creek. We live comfortably in a large two-bedroom condo, with a balcony and a garage, with our dog and a cat: Bodie is a friendly Australian Shepherd that loves kids, and Elf is an older cat that Devon has had since she bottle-fed her as a kitten. Our neighborhood is a great place for children, as our neighbors are very friendly and it’s a tight-knit little community with good schools, and it’s close to the ocean!
Our Extended Family
We both have large families, and they’re very excited about our adoption. Devon’s family is very outdoors-y, as her parents live on a ranch nearby with several horses, so they can always be found out among the animals and the fields. She also has a brother and two sisters, and two nieces and three nephews, all living nearby.
Robert’s mother is a minister, and he has several siblings who live a few hours away and cousins who live nearby. Our families are racially mixed and very inclusive, and we value education and togetherness more than anything.
Everyone is so excited for us to finally become parents and to welcome your little one into our homes and lives!
What Led Us To Adoption
We delayed having children, and when we finally tried to conceive we didn’t have any success. We had always considered adoption, though, and decided the world was telling us to adopt rather than try fertility treatments. We both love children and can’t wait to be parents; we know we can give a child a happy home.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
