dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

Where do we begin? We understand how difficult and emotional it is to consider an adoption plan, and it is hard for us to put into words our longing for another child. We know the love a parent shares with their child is a blessing, and we hope to share our story with you. We want to share the same love and happiness with your child and our family.

We will raise your child in a stable, loving, supportive family environment but also in a financially stable household. We will provide opportunities for your child to excel in their education, activities, and life. We will value your child for who he or she is and will value his or her culture. Wherever your journey leads you, we hope you find comfort in knowing you have chosen a life where your baby will be regarded as the biggest blessing and will be cherished every day. Our daughter is looking forward to having a sibling she can share her childhood with, and there is no doubt they will be lifelong best friends.

Thank you again for considering us on this journey!

About Us

Michele is a part-time pharmacy technician and sells houses on the side as a real estate agent. Devon is a full-time state government employee. We are a loving, fun, energetic couple. We enjoy spending time together and making each other laugh. We are very loyal to each other and value trust. Faith plays a big part in our family and drives us to be better to each other every day. We both come from a traditional family with family values. Our personality differences are complementary to each other. We are best friends and cheer each other on in our everyday lives. We have a beautiful daughter named Norah from Devon’s previous relationship; she is nine years old and energetic and loving. She can’t wait to be a big sister to play with and guide a sibling.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a two-story historical home in a historical district located in Ohio. The public school is right next door to our house, and it has a full playground with neighborhood kids playing in it who would all love a new friend! Our downtown area is within walking distance and is located along a river with a walking path. The city and surrounding area have many parks and other activity areas. We have a sweet dog named Buddy who is friendly, likes to cuddle, and likes to take walks. Our two cats, Cocoa and Beau, love to lounge around.

Our Extended Family

Michele’s family is European, and she is the first generation to be born in the U.S. They love to get together, eat big meals, and talk in the kitchen. Cooking together and passing down family recipes is tradition. They celebrate almost every holiday together when possible. Her family is excited about the adoption and can’t wait to meet their new family member.

Devon’s family is still centrally located where he was raised and has a very strong family connection to each other. They enjoy celebrating holidays together and take an annual family trip to Florida each winter. Devon’s family enjoys watching and playing sports. His family is very excited for an adoption, and all of them look forward to seeing the family expand.

What Led Us To Adoption

We strive to be a connected family unit and want to be able to share that with another child. We have seen other families from our church foster and adopt children. We tried to have a biological child but were unsuccessful and feel we are being called to adopt to make our dream of becoming parents come true. Our hope is to finally complete our family through adoption. We have thought about adoption for a long time, and we don’t want to let any opportunity pass us by.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
