dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We have sat here and thought and thought about what to write in this letter, but we cannot find the right words. Honestly, there are no words for this selfless, loving act you’re considering. We know this is a difficult time for you while trying to figure out the best option for you and your baby. We hope with all our hearts that you feel supported and loved throughout this journey. We admire you so much for considering adoption.
If you bless us with this amazing gift, we want to assure you that we will respect you and communicate with you and have as much openness with you as you are comfortable with. We promise to love your child with all of our hearts and to provide a safe, happy, loving place for him or her to grow and shine. We promise to honor your selflessness and bravery in every way possible.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and possibly choosing us to raise your child. “You have given someone the gift of life and someone else a child to love.”
With all our hearts,
Rob and Desi
We became friends while working together on the police department and slowly fell in love. To start a family, we thought it would be best for us to get jobs that would be more suitable for family life. Rob is the most loving man Desi has ever met. He is a great father to his children, Brookelyn (10) and Jaden (15). Desi has an old soul for a young person and has a soft spot for children, and she always puts others before herself. Although our family is blended, we do not call each other anything other than family. Brooke cannot wait to be a big sister. She enjoys playing with her younger cousins and showing off her gymnastic skills. Although Jaden spends most of his time with his mother, we enjoy spending time with him whenever we can. He is excited to be a big brother again and to teach the art of gaming.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a four-bedroom, three-bathroom house in a quiet neighborhood in a small town in Kansas. We enjoy riding bikes around the neighborhood. Our neighbors became family, and we have an open door for all the neighborhood kids. There are many growing families in the area to keep this going and to build lifelong relationships with. We have two small dogs. They both think they run the house. Spice is a six-year-old shih tzu who is the most loving dog you could imagine. We recently got a new puppy. He is a shih tzu-chihuahua mix and is all puppy. He loves his brother Spice and enjoys snuggling up with Brooke at the end of the day.
Our Extended Family
We have a very large blended family. Desi has seven siblings, all of whom have their own families. All the nieces and nephews are close to the same age, and when we get together, there is no one who is not having fun. Our favorite tradition is Christmas Eve at Mom’s. We all get together and have a gift exchange, eat, decorate cookies, and read ’Twas the Night Before Christmas. This is what Desarae remembers doing as a child, and she cannot wait to continue this with our kids. Our families are all excited to welcome a new life to our crazy, fun-filled lives.
Rob has family in Pennsylvania, and this allows us to travel to visit his relatives. His knowledge of Pennsylvania is amazing, and he knows all the neat spots to visit when back East. His favorite tradition was visiting his grandparents in western Pennsylvania over the Thanksgiving holidays. The new favorite tradition is waking up on Christmas morning with his children.
What Led Us To Adoption
We always knew we would grow our family together. Having a large family is something we are both used to. After many heartbreaks and losses, we decided to grow our family through adoption. Adoption has touched our family already, just in a different way. Rob adopted his oldest son back in 2013. We know there is a missing piece to our puzzle and feel in our hearts that adoption will help us complete the puzzle.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
