dear expectant mother

First and foremost, we want to say thank you. Thank you for taking the time to read our profile, for being brave, and for making the best choice for you and your baby, whatever that may be. We admire your strength and courage.

Please know that if you choose us to parent your child, they will be loved, safe, and free to be themselves. We look forward to sharing the simple things in life with them. Making and eating meals together, doing homework, going to cheer on the local soccer team, and enjoying movie nights at home—we can’t wait! We promise that your baby’s days will be filled with laughter, learning, and adventure.

Thank you again for learning more about us. While we can’t truly know what you are going through with this decision, we respect you and will raise your child to value their birth story. We will honor and respect whatever relationship you are comfortable with on this journey and after the child is born. No matter what, if you choose us to parent your child, we will think of you as family forever.

About Us

Hello! We are Tony and Debra. We met in 2015 and got married on a beautiful snowy evening in December of 2019. Debra is an elementary music teacher, and Tony is a vaccine researcher. We both love what we do and feel steady in our careers. Outside of work, Debra enjoys exercising, hanging out with friends and family, crafting, and singing. She is friendly, joyful, and loyal. Tony spends his free time playing video games, gardening, playing basketball, and reading. He is smart, calm, and always ready to try something new. We both value education in and outside of the classroom. We love learning about different cultures through trying new foods, attending community events, and traveling the world. We can’t wait to share this sense of adventure and our lives with a child.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by bustling city life. We live within walking distance of many restaurants, a tree-lined walking path, and the local school. We often go on bike rides and explore the many parks around our city. We love our 1920 big blue craftsman house on the hill. It’s a three-bedroom, three-bathroom house we are little by little improving and beautifying. We have two cats, Penny and George. They give us such joy and add laughter to our lives. There are many other young families in our neighborhood. We often joke that the kids rule the block since they are always out and about playing with each other. We can’t wait for our child to join in on the fun!

Our Extended Family

We are lucky to have both sides of our extended family nearby. Most of Tony’s family lives in a farm town two hours away. We visit about once a season to see his parents, siblings, and their children (seven and counting!). No trip to the farm is complete without a ride in the tractor and helping feed the cows!

Debra’s family only lives about 15 minutes from us. We see her parents and sisters about once a week for a family dinner or movie night. We make it a goal to celebrate the big holidays with both sets of families. The more, the merrier! Fun Fact: Our mothers have the same summer birthday, so we often celebrate them together with fireworks and trips to the lake.

Both families are excited to welcome a new child to the fold. We are so grateful to know we will have their support as we raise this beautiful child.

What Led Us To Adoption

Starting a family via adoption has always been the first choice for us. Debra has multiple adopted extended family members, and she cherishes her relationship with them. Though Tony has less personal experience with adoption, he is confident adoption is the way he is meant to become a father. We are excited by the opportunity to not only add a child to our little family but their family members as well. We realize and embrace that adoption means the expanding of multiple families. We would be so honored to be considered as a member of yours.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
