dear expectant mother

Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us! We know this is a difficult time for you while you are trying to figure out the best option for you and your precious baby. We hope you feel supported and loved no matter where you are in your journey. We admire you so much for choosing life and for considering adoption.

We promise your child will be loved and cherished by us. We promise to read to your child and to provide every opportunity possible for your child to learn and grow, but more than anything, we want you to know we will love your child unconditionally and will nurture them to grow up to be the best person they can be.

We have a wonderful support system of family and friends who can’t wait to meet your child and to watch them grow. Thank you for considering us, and thank you for giving hope to families like ours.

Sincerely,
Christopher and Deborah

About Us

We are Christopher and Deborah from northern Illinois. We met when we were both working at a local apple orchard in our teens. We were both homeschooled when we were growing up in Christian homes. We married in July 2019 and have one daughter, Leia. Our family is fun-loving and enjoys our time together. Christopher works as a heavy machine operator and also helps out at a beef and crop farm near us in his free time. Deborah is a stay-at-home mom. Deborah enjoys gardening, baking, and preserving food from the garden. Christopher has a knack for remodeling and has updated our 90-year-old home. We enjoy biking and going on family trips. Christopher’s humor is more extroverted, and Deborah’s is dry humor. We love to laugh every day in our home. We would love to share our humor and love with your child.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is a two-story, newly remodeled three-bedroom home located in a rural town. Our fenced backyard has a swing set, playhouse, and trampoline. We live only a half a block from the elementary school. Our county is home to a wonderful orchard, playgrounds, a bike trail, and an amazing county fair! We attend the fair every year. We have three dogs (Bailey, Gunner, and Rye) who love to come with us on the bike trail! They are very special to us since we have had them since they were puppies and they are very faithful. Your child would be very safe and welcomed in our small-town community.

Our Extended Family

We both come from large families. Deborah has nine siblings, and Christopher has four. Many of our siblings and both of our parents live within 15 minutes of us, so we often have big gatherings for holidays and birthdays. Family traditions include Christmas with Santa, Easter egg coloring and egg hunts, attending July 4th parades and fireworks, and celebrating lots of birthdays!

Deborah’s sister who lives nearby often brings her daughters over to play or go for a walk with our daughter, Leia. Deborah’s mom and sisters will babysit from time to time, but there are usually lots of cousins around to play with! Your baby would have lots of cousins…right now nine and counting! Christopher’s great-grandpa and great-great-grandpa also live near us and would be a part of your baby’s life.

We have a big support system to help us love and care for your baby. Our large family would be humbled to welcome your baby into our loving family.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always wanted to have a large family. However, we have been dealing with infertility for four years. We have tried fertility treatments with no results and think it is time to move on. Our hearts have been led to adoption. We would love to give your child our love and dedication. We feel our love and laughter would only become richer with your child in our life. Our daughter is so excited to be a big sister!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
