dear expectant mother
We are so grateful you are considering us to be loving parents to your baby. Your willingness to envision your child in the safety of our arms means everything to us. We understand the challenging decision you are faced with and admire the love, courage, and selflessness you are dedicating to your baby’s future. Please be assured we respect the position you are in and want to be supportive along the way.
Our deepest desire is to share our unconditional love with a precious baby and to provide them with unwavering support and encouragement to be their best self in this world. We promise to nurture a love for education and learning, acceptance of and kindness towards others, and the confidence to persevere through life's ups and downs. Most of all, we want your baby to know your strength and your love. Although we value your child knowing their story openly, we will honor whatever type of relationship makes you feel most comfortable.
A child to grow our family is a blessing we are hopeful for and embrace with joyful hearts. We have so much love to share and promise to provide a safe, loving home where your baby is forever cherished and has access to as many opportunities as possible. Our wish is to give your baby roots to grow and wings to fly. We promise all this and more and sincerely thank you for considering us to be a part of your adoption plan.
We are David and Sarah. We met through mutual friends when David moved back to our hometown after college. After that, we became inseparable and have been married for eight years now. Sarah is caring and compassionate, she loves animals, and loves to sing. David is honest, genuine, loves the outdoors, and makes delicious homemade bread. David is a chief estimator and associate partner for a commercial construction firm, and Sarah is a school counselor who loves supporting kids. She is blessed with summer vacations, when she can dedicate her time to visiting with loved ones. Some of our favorite traditions include skiing and snowboarding after the first snowfall, Fourth of July fireworks at the family cottage, decorating the house for various holidays, and canning vegetables from our garden each summer. We are blessed to be able to travel and experience different cultures and traditions, and we look forward to sharing these joys with your child.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a quiet, suburban neighborhood that has a large park within walking distance and lots of families with children, and our school district has some of the highest academic scores in our state and region. Our home is a spacious ranch with four bedrooms, an open floor plan, and a finished basement that has a great play space for kids. We live on about an acre of land with lots of gardens and have a large fenced in backyard with a play structure and swing set. Our dogs enjoy running around outside, and our cat prefers sleeping on the couch. Our community is family centered, has museums and nature preserves, and is within 30 minutes of a beautiful lake.
Our Extended Family
We are very blessed to have a loving family with many members living within a 15 minute car ride. Our families on both sides truly enjoy one another’s company, so our get-togethers are a blend of both families. We believe there is always room for more at the table: the more the merrier! Together, we celebrate birthdays, share family dinners, meet for trips, and have special holiday traditions like cutting down Christmas trees the day after Thanksgiving.
Sarah’s parents live close by. Her brother and his partner live in Washington, D.C. They have three children, two daughters and a son, and we love spending time with them during the holidays and in the summer. Our favorite family traditions include riding bikes on Mackinac Island and spending time at the family cottage, where we fish, kayak, eat s'mores, and laugh a lot! These special traditions involve loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, too.
David’s parents and sister also live nearby, and his sister and her husband have two sons. Our nephews enjoy sleepovers where we play outside, watch movies, and bake cookies together. David’s brother and his wife live in Oregon. When all together, we play board games, build snowmen, and enjoy home-cooked meals, always complete with a delicious pie Paw Paw made.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have a deep desire in our hearts to be parents and to welcome a child into our family. We discussed the possibility of adoption even before we were married, and after struggling to create a biological family, we have redirected our hearts to the God-given gift of building our family through adoption. We have seen in our lives the joy of adoption, as we have three cousins who were adopted and friends who have adopted children as well. Their adoption stories are beautiful and will help our child find an even greater sense of belonging within our family. We have so much love in our hearts that we are eager to share.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
