dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We are blessed and thankful to be a part of this opportunity. Adoption can bring uncertainty, but through this journey, we are committed to giving you reassurance and being with you every step of the way. Faith, security, honesty, and empathy are some of our family values. These values determine how we live our everyday lives. If you choose us, your child will be raised with these values and given the opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest. He or she will always be surrounded by the utmost support from three caring siblings, compassionate animals, and loving extended family members. Having a special bond with the birth mom from our first adoption, we are confident you and your child would feel the same warm welcome from our family. We will respect any level of openness you choose for your adoption plan.
Over the years, we have enjoyed building family traditions the kids can count on. These include cheeseburger Fridays for the dogs, Sunday breakfast, Christmas Day waffle bar, and movie nights. We can’t wait to share these with your child.
We hope you find comfort that each night your child will feel unconditional love and a sense of belonging in our family. More importantly, you will be honored in our family as you make important decisions for your future child.Thank you for considering us!
We met in 2015 through common friends. At that time, David was residing in Florida, working as a project engineer. Kate was living in Illinois with her two kids and working as a hospice nurse. For two years, we spent our weekends and holidays traveling to see each other. He eventually decided to make his final move to Illinois. We moved in together in 2018 with our two kids and three dogs. In the past few years, we have been blessed with many special memories that we got to share with our friends and family. This included our wedding at our local church and welcoming our adopted toddler. Since we became a family of five, David continues to work in the construction industry and works minutes from home. Kate recently became a nurse practitioner but works part-time to take care of all the kids and animals at home.
Our Home & Pets
Our family resides in a rural town in Illinois. Our house was built as a country schoolhouse in the early 20th century. Over the years, the house was renovated and expanded into a comfortable brick, two-story home nestled between corn and soybean fields. The kids enjoy the swingset and pool in the summer. At night, the stars are numerous, and oftentimes we sit out and enjoy meteor showers, full moons, and bonfires. The animals enjoy the acre and a half to graze and run freely within the limits of a full fence. We have 4 friendly dogs that are loveable and snuggly. The kids love playing with all of them and they are inseparable. Being in a small town, there are many community gatherings, including Labor Day celebrations, pumpkin and corn festivals, and lively Fourth of July fireworks.
Our Extended Family
Kate’s family is spread out in different states and even internationally. Kate was born in the Philippines, and most of her dad’s side immigrated to America. Her mom’s side still lives in the Philippines, and we try to visit them every two to three years. We like to gather as a family and make new memories. When it came to celebrating our wedding, 50+ family members came for this special day. Families came from the East Coast, West Coast, and even Hawaii to be with us for the weekend. Kate’s parents and brother live nearby and enjoy meeting for dinner to try out new restaurants.
We live minutes away from David’s extended family. David is the youngest of three, and his parents have been married 40+ years. His grandma enjoys having the grandchildren over for afternoon tea. With us living near each other, it is not uncommon to pass by each other’s houses and see other family members hanging out in their front yards. We even have Sunday suppers, which is a cherished tradition in the family.
Our Adoption Story
Adoption has always been near and dear to our hearts. Our first adoption was a true blessing and an absolutely amazing experience. We felt the love and support from our family and friends from beginning to end. Our two older children were so excited to welcome our new member of the family, their love for one another is indescribable. Now, all three can’t wait for another sibling to love. After praying and talking with each other, we knew we wanted to grow our family again through adoption. We are so excited to walk through this journey again!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
