dear expectant mother
Thank you so much for considering us to raise your beautiful child. We understand what a difficult choice you are considering and want you to know your bravery and love will be something we cherish and talk about in our household should you choose us. We know adoption is what we want for our future family and look forward to sharing our love with a baby.
While we love being together, we are missing the last piece of our puzzle. We hope to share all of those adventures with your baby and promise you that there will be no shortage of love and fun. We also have so many family members and friends who will adore him or her and create amazing moments together. Whether it is a family get-together, a day at the race track, running around in the backyard, or simply making brownies, we want your child to join us for all of life’s adventures.
We promise to raise your baby to understand what an amazing mother you are and the incredible gift you are giving. We also intend to create a beautiful connection with you and your family, if you so choose. Your child will be raised in a home where he or she feels loved and supported and given confidence and encouragement to follow their dreams. We are eager and hopeful to bring a child into our home and create amazing memories, stories, and laughter together. We can’t thank you enough for considering us to be your baby’s parents.
Hi, we are Dave and Heather! When we met seven years ago, it was Dave’s quirky humor that got Heather’s attention, and we’ve been laughing and enjoying life together ever since. When we aren’t at our day jobs (Dave as an electrician and Heather as a marketing executive), we love to work on home projects, make meals together, go on walks with our fur babies (yes, our cat walks on a leash too!), and simply spend time together. We also have harness race horses that Dave owns and trains, so we spend quite a bit of time at the barn and track during racing season. We love to travel, go to sporting events, and experience new, fun activities. We live in a very cute and rural town that always has something fun going on! We are looking forward to sharing all of these experiences with a new joy in our lives.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three-bedroom ranch with a newly finished basement, a deck where we grill and enjoy nice weather, a garden Heather works on every summer, and a one-acre yard with plenty of room to run and play. Whether it’s running through the sprinkler, making snow angels, or jumping in leaf piles, our child will have so much to enjoy! Though we live in a more rural area, we are only five minutes from our city’s downtown, five minutes to amazing hiking spots and beautiful nature (with waterfalls!), and five minutes to the interstate so we can head to our next adventure. We have one dog and one cat that live inside the home with four horses and two cats that live in the barn.
Our Extended Family
Family is a very important part of our story, and we enjoy spending as much time together as we can. We are blessed to have an amazing family on both sides. Everyone is beyond supportive and excited for our adoption journey. Dave has one sister with a husband and wonderful daughter. Heather has one brother who has recently married. Both siblings live close by, and we visit with each other often. Each of our parents are still together and live locally as well.
Holidays are a very special time for us. Our gatherings are filled with food, great conversation, laughter, and games. We can’t wait to carry on the fun of the holidays and family traditions we both grew up loving, like cutting down our own Christmas tree, making gingerbread houses, Easter egg coloring, Fourth of July BBQs, Leprechaun traps, and so much more!
Beyond holidays, we also get together to celebrate birthdays, go to the race track to cheer on our ponies, attend sporting events, go on family trips, and just enjoy each other’s company. We are eager to share all of this love with the newest member of our family!
What Led Us To Adoption
As we started to plan for our future, we knew we wanted something different, and the adoption journey felt right. We spoke to a friend who adopted, and the story was wonderful. While we work to build our family, we also want to support and connect with an expectant mother. We want the opportunity to be parents and to bring a child into our home to experience the fun, adventures, and activities we can’t wait to share with him or her! We look forward to having a beautiful relationship with you (if that is what you want) and providing our child with endless care and love.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
