Dear Birthmom

First of all, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us to be the parents of your baby. We know how difficult a decision this must be for you, and we’re thinking of you throughout this process. We can promise to return your act of courage with unconditional love and support for your baby for the rest of our lives.

Adoption is something that is very near and dear to our hearts. Megan was adopted as an infant. Throughout her life she has been able to experience the love that can come with adoption, and her life has been shaped by this love. We also know how important it is to always be open and talk about the adoption process and you. Our families believe in being open and honest in all things in life, especially when it comes to adoption.

We will raise your baby with encouragement, adventures, unconditional love, and support. He or she will be surrounded by our closest friends and family and will experience all of the traditions and fun that we have with them. We could not be more excited and grateful. Thank you very much for considering us.

About Us

Our story began in 2007 when we met in college. After college, Dave went to work in Chicago while Megan finished school. During this time we spent two years in a long-distance relationship. We were happily married in 2012 in Megan’s hometown, and this is where we live now. Dave quickly became a part of the community with his outgoing personality. That outgoing personality led him to a very successful and fulfilling career in marketing. Megan is an extremely social person as well, which has led her to a successful career as an event planner at a non-profit organization. We love going to sporting events, traveling and hanging out with friends and family. We have been blessed with our son Joshua, who is two years old. Joshua loves to play with our dog buddy, visit with friends, and play outside.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a suburb of a major metropolitan area. Our town has a top-rated school district with lots of festivals, picnics, and events throughout the year. It’s got a small-town vibe, but has every store and restaurant you can imagine. We live on a cul-de-sac in a pretty quiet neighborhood that is full of kids that fill the streets and nearby parks. There is a great dog park nearby where we take our black lab, Buddy. Buddy is a rescue dog and absolutely loves playing with our son and our friends’ kids, often times as a pillow or hide-and-seek partner.

Our Extended Family

We both come from large families with lots of cousins. Megan is one of five adopted kids in her family. She and her adopted cousins are all similar ages and are very close. Dave also has two adopted cousins. All together Megan has 15 cousins, many of whom have children of their own. Dave has 12 cousins, many of whom have kids as well. Nearly all of Megan’s family live within about a 30-minute drive, while Dave has family all over the country, mainly on the East Coast. Dave and his two younger brothers, Jamie and Scott, grew up taking tons of family trips to the beach and theme parks with their cousins, spending most holidays together in New Jersey. Megan is an only child who spent most of her time growing up extremely close with all of her cousins. Megan’s entire family is very close with lots of family traditions, including a “Christmas in July” family reunion every year, and also big family parties for every holiday.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption has always been a dream of ours, long before we faced infertility problems. Megan was adopted as an infant and has had the most amazing life, experiencing first-hand the wonders that come from adoption. We have struggled with infertility issues for years, being blessed with our son after several procedures. After Joshua was born, we knew we wanted to continue to grow our family and that it was time to pursue our adoption journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
