dear expectant mother

To a Loving Mother:

We would like to express our gratitude to you for considering us to be the adoptive parents for your child. We admire your courage and strength in considering an adoption plan. We understand this is a very difficult decision, and it is important for you to find a family that will love and cherish your child. We want you to be assured your child’s life will be full of love and support from us and our families. Your child will grow up with opportunities to thrive, and he or she will never be lacking in love from us. This is our promise to you.

We know life doesn’t always turn out the way we expect. Sometimes, out of our greatest struggles, we find the path we are meant to take. It was through a long struggle with infertility that we realized every child is an incredible gift. We hope to be the family you choose to cherish your child. We are open to whatever relationship you desire to have with us. No matter what, if you choose us, your child will grow up knowing about the incredible gift of life you have given him or her.

Most of all, we would like you to know that if you choose us, you would be giving us the greatest gift possible, and we will forever be grateful.

Warmly,
Dave and Martha

About Us

Our journey together began in high school when we were seventeen. From our first date at Tasty Freeze to forming a lifelong bond in marriage, we have always dreamed of the day we could start a family. Martha is loving and compassionate and enjoys being around friends and family. Dave is hardworking, loves sporty activities, and has a very playful and enthusiastic approach to life. We both work from home. Dave manages his own business and schedule, and Martha has a flexible schedule with generous time off, which provides a great work–life balance. In early 2019, we were blessed with our first adopted child, Abby. She has added a joy to our lives we could never have imagined. Our family loves the outdoors. We enjoy road trips, camping, exploring parks, hiking and relaxing at the beach. We also enjoy visiting museums and traveling.

Our Home

Our home is located in a quiet suburban subdivision in a highly ranked school district. We have a newer home with three spacious bedrooms, an office, and a fenced yard. We enjoy barbecues and making s’mores in the backyard firepit. There are many children in our neighborhood, and the families often get together for birthdays and community activities. In our community, there are trails, playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, and a pool and splash pad. We are also close to several forest preserves for hiking and biking.

Our Extended Family

Family has always been an important part of our lives. Martha has a younger brother and sister, and Dave has a younger sister. We are also fortunate to have our parents, two brother-in-laws and a nephew. We also have extended family in other parts of the country, as well as in Mexico and Europe.

Family gatherings are always an adventure. Both sides of our family get together for the holidays and summer cookouts. Martha’s sister brings along her pets and Dave’s sister is usually baking while our parents are cooking dinner and fighting for space in the kitchen.

We enjoy family camping trips, and almost every year we take a vacation together. The last few years we have taken trips to Seattle, Denver, Phoenix, San Diego, Germany, Poland, and Mexico.

Our Adoption Story

The desire to adopt was born in our hearts at a very early age. After we got married, we were excited to start a family, but we faced infertility. After several years of unsuccessful fertility treatments, our desire to adopt began to grow. Through prayer and mentoring children, we began to realize our desires were a part of God’s plan for our lives. Our prayers were first answered with the adoption of our daughter, Abby, who is now four. Abby has a very outgoing personality and loves being around other children. She is especially excited to become a big sister.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
