Your baby will be welcomed with open arms and hearts. Providing your baby with endless opportunities to live to their fullest potential is our goal as parents. We know at the end of the day, a child needs unconditional love and support, and this is where we will start every day. Our active lifestyle will keep us exploring the outside world. Our compassionate hearts will provide a foundation of what it means to be selfless. Whether it’s the reservoir lake just blocks away, the North Carolina beaches, or mountains, your baby will see the beauty in the world. Connection with people and a community is a priority because as humans, we are all wired for connection, so our family stays active in the community around us. We teach through example as parents to our children, and we take this role seriously.
About Us
Darla is a registered nurse working in labor and delivery at a local hospital. Since her career as a nurse started in 2011, she has always worked with moms and babies and can’t imagine herself doing anything else. She is a very compassionate person who has always placed other people first. Keith is a local business owner who has a passion for entrepreneurship and giving. He is a hard worker who dedicates his time to his family and staff. His hometown is very special to him so he stays very connected in the community. We met each other as very independent people and are now able to support and love each other to the best of our abilities. We founded a non-profit that donates mattresses to families in need and look forward to seeing the potential of service this foundation can offer.
Our Home & Pets
We have a large two-story brick home in a beautiful neighborhood connected to a trail around a lake filled with turtles we love to watch. Our house has four bedrooms, a playroom, and a large yard with a playset outside. We love being outdoors and have built a large deck in our backyard to provide our kids with a nice outdoor area. We moved intothis neighborhood for the school district and the ability to ride bikes and walk safely. Our three dogs are gentle, patient, and very friendly. Our boys enjoy having them to cuddle and love to help take care of them. We are animal lovers and include our dogs in our daily activities.
Our Extended Family
Darla’s sister lives just five minutes away from us, and our two nieces and nephew are best friends with our sons, Gavin and Garrett. Their family has an active role in our daily lives. Darla’s parents and other family members live in Wisconsin. Her family visits once or twice a year while our family loves to spend a couple weeks every year in the beautiful summer weather of Wisconsin.
Keith’s entire family lives in the same county, making the relationships very close. We love getting together and grilling food while enjoying the beautiful North Carolina weather. Holidays are spent with everyone together.
Our Adoption Story
We have three handsome boys that keep us busy and remind us of the important things in life. Our six-year-old twins, Gavin and Garrett, are adopted, so we know first-hand the beauty of growing a family through adoption. It was incredible how they so easily fit into our family. Our hearts grew so much when our boys came into our lives. Our youngest, Gideon, grew in Darla’s belly and now he loves following his big brothers around. We are eternally grateful to have been able to grow our family in so many ways. Our family is a perfect reminder that love has no limits. As parents, we guide our children into becoming the best people they can be. With love and support, we look forward to watching them develop into caring, compassionate men. We are blessed in being able to adjust our lives completely around our children, which brings us a lot of joy. We hope we will be able to once again grow our family through adoption.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
